Where have Elliott and Hoffman been in all this? (1 Viewer)

Can we read a conspiracy yet to be realised into all this?
Or is it that they lost faith or the will to get a cheap deal on the Ricoh? I reckon if they had secured a 250 year lease on the Ricoh for the peanut sum of less than 20m including existing loan, they would have had change to buy SISU out for 20/30m surely? and in the process got the lot for some 40m. Hoffman a banker?....you're having a laugh.:claping hands:

So you think Hoffman should have bought a sports stadium lease, without owning a sports team to play there (SISU apparently don't want to sell)

So he buys CCFC for 30 million and ACL for 20 million
50 million.
Do you think CCFC are worth 30 million
A league one club with 40 million debt?
I genuinely don't know what CCFC are worth ( by that I don't mean what SISU would accept)
Ironically I think ACL has just devalued CCFC

What I was driving at was a while back SISU were intimating a value of 20/30m as this was the real 'debt' and they may depart. Hoffman offered a quid on a fag packet and it all went tits up from there.
Now if Hoffman had seen that the council would let the Ricoh go on a 250 year lease for as little as 5.5m plus servicing the 14 loan then Hoffman could have got a deal for the lot. He just did not have his finger on the pulse even with Elliott having just stood down as a director at the time with inside info. They tried to do a deal with the council to upstage SISU I recall and that back fired. How come the council never approached (or did they) Hoffman over this recent idea now in the hands of WASP?

They were never going to take him seriously not hanging out with a man who's orange and another who's hands are like teen wolfs

Joe was at the game Wednesday, I saw Hoffman at the Brizzol game, they haven't gone away just silent as nothing to offer and potentially feel guilty as they backed SISU initially

Funny how people keep dragging even more people into the frame to blame....

There is only one side to blame for this that is the company that said we are moving on we will build a new stadium within 4 years well only 2 years now to wait until we enter our new home.

Time, time, time. and that is what it is taking time. SISU have been slowly manouvered into a weaker position to withstand any bid for the football club, the move back to the Ricoh, the loss of it's court action, the failed and feeble attempt to get a stake in the Arena, the shortage of revenue, they can't even afford to maintain the pitch ffs!. They (sisu) now have decisions to make hopefully soon and I am hopeful there will be a move to buy them sooner rather than later.

What ever way you word it. Do you think our club is worth 30 million?
Then you needed to buy ACL as well for 20 million.

These TWATS that own us WILL NOT build a new stadium and any poor bewildered soul who thinks differently needs a brain check-up. SISU are playing games, what logic is there in them investing in a scheme to build a stadium that, given their relationship with the Council, will have to be outside the city boundaries and therefore further alienate the dwindling fan base. Look at the gates at present...... a hard core of about 7k, what would that go down to in a ground out side of the city. Fans already don't go because SISU are at the helm so moving out of the city would be just "one step beyond" How would there ever be a return for their investment? They would be in total competition with the Ricoh with its concert hall, conference centres, Casino, railway station and access to major motorway links. What sort of events could they be considering in this fairy land that would be preferable to the Ricoh......NONE. It's not gonna happen.
What the future holds is at present shrouded in mist and that mist has been generated by Sepala, Fisher and co and I wouldn't mind betting that they haven't got a clue what to do next.

I thought no one wanted Elliott of Hoffman involved anyway?

Now we have a thread asking why they haven't done something? Amazing how opinions change.

Most of us backed Sisu at the start.
If we knew what we know now we would have taken administration............. I think

I think if it was on the boundaries then fans would go. Weather enough of them to make it worthwhile, who knows? We've seen that many only turn up for a big game, or if we're going well.

I agree the stadium won't happen. In the years they've been here, they've penny pinched, schemed, and tried to do things on the cheap and look where its got them. No stadium, no revenues to note, and a half talented team struggling in the 3rd tier. Joy has been daft enough to let these prats get on with it, I can't see her spunking any more money on a new stadium - they would have to sell it and CCFC on as a package to try and re-coup the money. With all the debt they've run up, who would be interested at the price they would have to put on it?

Hardcore of 7,000 ?
I've got 2 season tickets and wished I had not bothered.

Mind you a couple of wins can change my mind.

I would say that Hoffman is glad he doesn't own the club it is an impossible job to please the fans and he has managed to keep the millions in his bank account.
