Something tells me Joy may have finally realized the commercial opportunity she has in her hands with CCFC this season.

No, they will use any surplus that is in the budget, but they won't throw in extra and gamble on promotion. They will hope that Mowbray can keep using his budget wisely.

Only if all legal action had to end. Then she would have two choices get rid of the club as it is or get it into the top half of the championship before a season ends and recoup some money by selling the premiership dream .

Many also forget that JS is the head of a hedge fund; she is hardly going to be the sort of person to roll over, is she?

You either cut your loses and get rid or you try and increase its value in order to sell it. With no legal options that would mean spending cash and sorry Stu but yes getting within touching distance of the championship play offs would increase the sale value of CCFC.
Can't see any point in saying tell you what I will just own Coventry for twenty years because it's pays for itself in division 3. I will do nothing else???

Well the club is self run so with higher gates and all that we are getting then yes more money will be there just anyway. Doesn't need investment though I get the question.

With crowds of 15k will help the budget anyway and attract better players with the Ricoh and our manager and league position. That's only what's happened now and worked wonders.

Don't change a winning formula? We have lost 4 games all season with none at home. Simple fact is is if we get the same points in the next 23 games of the season we will be top 6 certainly.

The only way the club will have any sale price at all is if at the very least their is land purchased and permission to build granted.

Because this is just one of many investments. As long as the other investments are making profit there is no urgency for them to sell this one.

You talk about sniff of premiership but so what? The club gets no reciprocal benefit of the increase on values of sponsors naming rights corporate etc. there is no way either that anyone would buy into anything but 100% ownership.

Again without wanting to repeat myself, the club is just 1 of a number of investments on their portfolio, as long as others are making a profit there is no urgency to sell this one. You're thinking as a football fan not a financier.

No they wont 'gamble', they will only invest money where there is a certain return. They have already stated the club must be self-supporting. If/When we get promoted, we will probably come straight back down because the extra income in the Championship wont pay for players of the standard needed to keep us up.

What's any of that got to do with SISU? Nothing Wasps do will effect the club for at least two more seasons now and effect SISU even less.

Seppella has no interest in our football club other than what she can get from it, sisu will organise the sale of the most valuable of our players Maddison, RCC are two that spring to mind and pocket most of the money l would like to see a plan from them on how they intend to fund a Championship campaign which if you remember Tim Fisher said we couldn't afford.

They need to stay with the club and use it to get as much compensation as they can via the legal action(s).

It's what they do then is the question?

'If' there is any compensation it will come from the council so they will also get their revenge fix.
Perhaps then they will realise there is nothing left here for them and they will start their exit plan.

Totally disagree, we have a squad who should be capable of obtaining promotion. The focus should be on retaining the key loans as a primary goal, injuries will be a key problem but we cannot predict this. The question would be more about whether they would invest if we got promoted.

I did wonder if they might sell season tickets for next season in the next month or two, at this year's prices. They would be asking fans to gamble, at least those who don't automatically get a season ticket, that we will get promoted. However, may be too late now for this transfer window.
