He will get better with the more he plays, his influence could be a massive in and around a changing room if wembley is a route to promotion.

I thought Cole was bang average today against a crap side.

No one is telling me we need him here other than to help our squad develop.

He is a passenger. If he didn't start today the score and everything would have been the same. Job for Cole any day.

Clueless Kok. Cole maintains possession far more than any other player. JOB's energy is great but he came on today and gave the ball away nearly every time he got it.

Did playing Cole and Maddison work well?

Don't know what game you we're watching? I saw Armstrong Murphy and Maddison get goals and assists.

Are posters on here saying Joe Cole deserves his starting place? Really?

He was blowing is arse off after 20 minutes. Got no goals and no assists. Yes he passed the ball and the occasional nice touch against a crap bottom side.

Sorry I just don't see it.

You guys have to stop with this praise because inside its killing grendel.

Look it's clear you spend all your time obsessing about me.

If you want a date PM me but I'm not cheap so you will have to up the ante from the establishments I would guess you usually frequent. I'm not a Wood End chip shop sort of guy.

All i am doing is calling you out on the crap you come out with, most of the time. I dont have to agree with you and you dont have to with me. When i have got things wrong i will hold my hand up, i am big enough and old enough to do that. Dont you wish you were too?

Well he's had one good game against the worst team in the league - though one poster who went said he was not good at all. In the ratings thread 66% currently gave him the lowest rating if our players.

I'm not sure where I am wrong really.

As you seem a trifle dim the point I am making seems lost on you so let's try again.

The point is on a very tight budget is a player with clear injury concerns and fitness issues the right one to choose? Since October when he signed his impact has been minimal. Personally I think that's a legitimate issue to raise.

Why the personal insult?? Is he the only player we have thats ever been injured or that needs to get fit when we have signed them? I think your wrong with cole, bigi and haynes and long term you will eat your words.

Cole was head and shoulders above anyone today.

Really? Fair enough if that's your opinion but that's a big statement over a player who got a hat trick and Murphy who was a threat every time he got the ball and scored one of our best goals this season.

I think people are giving in to the Cole as a brand. If anyone else had the game Joe Cole had then we would all be slating him.

He certainly tried and an occasional nice touch or pass but nothing significant and it's not like this is the first time he has been average. He hasn't exactly lit it up since he has been here. Let's be fair.

Looks very unfit to me and his legs are gone. There are a lot of miles in those legs I'm afraid. Not questioning his effort or commitment.

Been a big advocate to dropping Cole but he played well today. He should've scored in the opening minutes though I might add, but overall a good performance

Hadji10 doesn't do measured and reasonable, he does statements: ''RCC will NEVER be good enough for the Championship'' ... ''Cole was head and shoulders above ANYONE today''. He can be a bit silly.

Cole had a very good game constantly wanting the ball and not wasting it.Best game in a city shirt by a country mile in my opinion.

I've been really sceptical around JC's arrival here and that's the first game where I really thought he offered something and had a real influence,. Yes it was against a very lowly team but he was tenacious, mobileand another leader on the pitch.
There was one occasion where I thought he just wanted too long on the ball and possibly slowed us down a little.
He really should have scored in the first minute, other than that the Issue for me is who makes way.
