Apologies if there's already been another thread about this.

From our current squad, who would you retain? Offer new contracts? Or Release etc.

The following I would retain and wouldn't cost too much more than current wage bill.

RCC;
Stokes;
Ricketts;
Reda ;
Martin;
Fleck;
Cole;
Bigi;
Job;
Haynes;
Maddison;
Lameiras;
G Thomas;
Bassala

Release or sell

Burge
Phillips
C Thomas
Tudgay
Fortune

Cannot yet comment Lorentszen or Rose.

We would obviously need to buy; In addition to the above the extra £3M pound playing budget would be spent on;

A Quality striker, or 2.
A Quality Centre back
A Quality winger. ( Buy Jacob Murphy? £1M , if Norwich stay up)

This would enable us to stay up and possibly be competitive.

Its the 5th january ffs and we are 4th and they have a game in hand. Lets get over the line please as you have a risk of being called a numpty by other teams forum members. We havent had promotion in a million years so maybe put this back till May please.:thinking about:

Yes jumping the gun a bit. But it's just a bit of forward thinking all Hypothetical.

No point even hypothetically, as I would want to wait an entire season before judging players. Phillips has done well, tbf to him and as I have said in another thread, although at this moment I would release him if we went up, wouldn't say he absolutely should be released at this point.

But think should give all players a chance to impress this season, then see at the end of the season, if they should be given chance to impress at higher level.

Even Burge hasn't been totally awful and wouldn't be a bad 3rd keeper. Still plenty of room to grow

I think it's an interesting thread. Shows how tough football management is, because although it feels like counting chickens before they've hatched, with so much still to play for, I would like to think that the management team are asking themselves this question and planning accordingly.
