You'll need to prove it.
Rental of 100K and access to some revenues and no stadium to finance and maintain might have a bearing.

The disadvantages are more the missing sugar daddy that the successful clubs seem to have.

How about the clubs who pay no rent and keep all the revenues?

Well they will pay the bond interest by incurring more debt....they've never had a year from what I can see that the debt hasn't grown from the prior year.

Nice to see you are trying to defend wasps and your best friend Italia though.

As many on here know you are not the sharpest tool in the box but you are a trier.

No defending. Just stating the obvious that if they're paying the interest it's not adding to the debt. If the debt is being paid nothing is being added. Pretty obvious really. If/when they start missing payments you'll have a point.

Why would Wasps not be happy for us ? The more fans we have the more money they make !!
Wasps can cream off CCFC success if they want to. Charge us silly rent and what could we do ?
To be honest if Wasps start to fail then we will make up the difference.

We need to either build a new stadium or work with Wasps.
To be realistic about it we only have the second option.
Not only can they cream off our success, they also have bellends like you throwing money at them. NOPM to Wasps!!

Italia seems to think the debt will be paid off in 6 years when the bonds end and Ccfc will be able to buy in to ACL.

I do agree with your point about our debt deterring potential owners, but would also add that wasps (bond owners) owning ACL will equally deter potential owners. My point to Italia was more along the lines of wasps have to pay the interest, they have to pay the debt, and as much as our debt is holding us back, we're never going to be paying back £50m+ to sisu and their investors.

The interest doesn't pay off debt it pays off interest. When the try to raise bonds again they may find the market demanding more interest. Their level of debt will stand still so technically you're correct I suppose.

Depends how they are paying the interest doesn't it? If they are borrowing more money to pay the bond interest there overall debt is increasing, the debt with regards to the bonds is staying the same but debt to other parties would increase.

Example, to pay the interest on time Derek Richardson puts in £1,000,000 every year in the form of loan. There are no missed payments but overall outcome debt to owner increases and thus overall debt increases.

If you support CCFC then you pay money to Wasps indirectly surely ?
I take it with your high morals you have stopped going to the Ricoh?
Although you could probable get it cheaper with your tourettes problem.

It would seem so.

I really can't be bothered to engage in a pointless debate with you. You're a massive hypocrite. You know it and everyone else knows it. As for the tourettes comment. c**t!

I get what you're saying and largely I think we agree. Except that if we get into the premier league (small chance I know) I wouldn't bet against us not paying a chunk of the debt of and likewise if we ever turn any sort of a profit in any league paying something back.

The truth is that we've never been in a position to pay any of it back so you can never say with any certainty that we won't ever have to pay any back because we've never been in a position to test that.

Which until their group of accounts come out is supposition and it also wasn't what Grendull was saying. But yes if they have to borrow money from wherever to pay the bond interest than yes their debt pile will grow.

If I was a genuine supporter of them I'd be extremely concerned about their future.

Still, as long as Italia gets his car park money and can watch 'top class rugby' then who cares?

I'll follow a plan but there isn't one.

What is the CCFC plan you are following ?

Are we building a new stadium or not ? Are we staying at the Ricoh or not ? Can we afford the Ricoh or not ? Do we need tread water while Wasps have all the costs or not ?

No fukc it, lets get rid of Wasps because they moved into a stadium apparently we didn't want.
Let's let Sisu off the hook because we are in the top 6 for the first time in 40 years and lets attack fellow fans who won't blindly follow an unwritten plan instead ?

Good luck with that one.

You may be a genuine (and passionate) supporter but your not in the majority who in reality have never bothered who owns the stadium and believe what will happen will happen and it's out our hands.

It's not ideal but we are in a better position financially than we were 3 years ago when we also didn't own the stadium, paid £1.4M rent and had no access to revenues.

Yes we may not have the full access to incomes but neither have we got the costs of running the stadium.

I await the business case from Sisu what the way forward is.

I think you are being "attacked" for your hypocrisy and the general rubbish you post rather than the fact you aren't blindly saying we need a new stadium. Not to mention the fact you have a partnership with wasps which most don't have, which maybe explains why out of the fans who post on here you back then the most and want them to be as popular as possible.

I would guess if they played in canley or somewhere you would have a completely different view.

I could say the same about your posts. It's all about opinions.
I can understand people when loosing the argument picking up on tenuous links to hypocrisy and businesses but in reality Sisu have no plans and fans and businesses want to plan their futures. We have had years of them using us as cannon fodder and yet we let them mess around with no challenges.

You couldn't really though. If I had a partnership in any way with SISU and I was on here telling everybody how great they were you might have a point. What makes it better is when you come out with the SISU payroll stuff.

If I was to go to the Bull and Anchor and ask the manager if they thought Wasps being here was good, they aren't going to say it isn't are they? They may do if it means CCFC moves to the other side of town though.

Maybe every listened to you demanding everybody back them and getting arsey when people didn't? Did you have a partnership with them then or something?

As bad as it sounds, I don't think any local business should plan everything around 1 income stream (football, rugby etc) should they if they want long term success?

How many others apart from Tony agree with you Italia? How many others are desperate for us to have a 10 year deal? Desperate for us to use their ticketing system? You lose the argument by being a hypocrite. People only respond out of sheer frustration at the hypocrisy. I imagine the SISU plan is to be as successful as possible. Like most clubs. After all it is the only way they will get their investment back or some of it. The council also used the club as cannon fodder for years and got away with it without a challenge. Yet your very quiet about that? Again another show of hypocrisy and double standards.

Clueless, uninformed nonsense.
Answer the question .... what's the plan you are working too ?

Let me guess ....

We can't have it so no one can ????

Whereas the plan you are working to is:

Imagine for a second the Ricoh was in Canley, Wyken or Finham and then post your views, would they be the same or different? Mine would be the same.

Wasps tent in Broadgate today.

Luckily no-one seemed interested and it was just 2 blokes and a women in Wasps jackets standing there looking bored.

Was tempted to go round the back and pull out their tent pegs. ;)

If ACL had been sold to an events company, people would be annoyed but deal with it. The hypocrisy of the council bringing in a franchise when they complained so much at our move to Northampton is what grates on people. Clearly not you as hypocrisy is what your good at. Oh and car parks, never forget the car park.

I can't go along with it being the same situations or even being a franchise, other than 'London and surrounding counties' was their home.

- The stadium was empty and Wasps needed one.
- Sisu moved my club to somewhere I couldn't get too.

I wanted CCFC to own it but but 'we' messed up and we don't.
The stadium is now something to be proud of and my football team play there.

Will have to agree to disagree.
Close the thread I'm bored.

We need a stadium, so if there is an empty one in Yorkshire we will be ok to move there?

It isn't the same situation, it is worse.

It is boring keep seeing you make shit up then move the goalposts and then make a statement which then when simply changing Wasps for CCFC or CCFC for Wasps you suddenly change your mind.

This thread is so boring its like a merry go round.

We have two games ahead of us that could map out our future yet some are still going on about something we cannot change.

If we were moving from renting stadiums in Coventry (in the 50's) to Nuneaton to Tamworth to Rugby to Cannock you might reconsider if they bought a stadium in Kettering.

It's my opinion on a bulletin board, you can ignore it, you can argue against it, you may not like it but it's my opinion.
