Looked and sounded cress fallen last night, still lives 200 miles away and there's bound to be a number of job opportunities come summer nearer to home. I don't think for one minute he will be sacked but that commute must be a strain. Not sure where he fits with new ceo Chris Anderson either. Our record since Andersons arrival is dire to say the least. Yes I know we have recruited 2 or 3 recently but couple of those are kids for the future.

To be honest he has the same flaws as a manager wherever he goes.

There are other managers out there who are better than him so I don't think there is a huge queue of chairman waiting for him.

He will be here next season but if that promotion doesn't come then he we will walk himself,

He needs to be retained and then sacked at Christmas while we are still top 6.

Hes an honourable man so cant see him leaving before he has achieved what he wants to achieve.wether that comes or not is another question

I couldn't care less if he stays or goes. We have managed to still finish mid-table even with a squad a lot, lot stronger than previous years.

He told us this might happen. We hoped it wouldn't but it's looking like it might!

He'll be more more frustrated than anyone that's it's happened again I imagine.

With him bringing in players I guess he's planning for next season, so can't see him leaving. Only way he'll go is if we don't get a single point before the end of the season (and tbf I wouldn't expect us to keep him if we went on a run of consecutive defeats!)

Surely if he predicted it he could have prevented it?

At the minute that looks a real possibility, should have had that game wrapped up last night but when you have a 4th class back up strike force what can we expect

Hope not. with him next year I expect top 6 again in league one even eith revamped squad

And also we could be in championship possibly!

Que Mowbray being hard done by and innocent and it all being the owner's fault.

The same way the Peterborough owner won them the game last night by making changes.

I really want to hear what he has to say on the matter, myself.

This will be three times his teams have blown play-off places.

We are not going to move forwards as a club unless he can address this flaw in his make-up. It's a serious flaw too.

Next season, if we are top 6 at Christmas, just how many of us will be waiting for a predictable collapse?

He has to address this deficiency. He is the manager and it's now happened 3 times. If he can't put that right he has to go. It's that simple.

I have it on good authority that Anderson has been implementing his statistical analysis skills within off the pitch matters and has little to do with the on the pitch situation.

I think that's correct, he needs to identify the common factors in all 3 collapses and address these issues honestly.

Originally I thought he would walk it we did not make it into the play offs as he would view it as failure himself.
However having heard him speak last night I think he will stay on if we do not make the play offs.

We will see at the end of the season - of course divided opinion over whether if he stays will be good or not.

I personally will view this season as a failure if we do not make the play offs this year.
Others will see us finishing 14th as progress from last year.......I do not given weakness of league
our squad depth and budget this year.

Long way to go anyhow this season will try to strap in and enjoy the ride!! :cool:

Well firstly we/he have been seriously affected with that catalogue of injuries to defenders, Johnson and Willis out for the season, Turner who may have stayed longer than his original month, Martin out nearly 3 months, Lorenzan signs and is immediately injured, the kid from Bournemouth crocked and of course my player of the season Chris Stokes probably out until the end of the season, that's some fucking list. Players I thought would strengthen us Hunr, Henderson and Joe Cole to a degree just haven't. I challenge any club in our league to live with that. Having said that whether I think the way we set up to play works well the evidence says no, he stays fine, but he either has to re-assess his tactics or ask SISU for a bigger slice of budget to help acquire better players more adapt to our game plan.

Plan A: pass to Armstrong, Kent or Murphy hope they do something with it.

Plan B: err, where is Kent?

For a defender he has done sod all to solidify our defense as a unit! This I find very worrying. If he can't remedy this before the end of the year then losing him would be I great loss.

Tbf, I don't think many are saying this.

SISU have, as far as we can tell, kept their end of the bargain and backed TM.

The only things that have happened, is the sale of Maddison and moved the 11K to 14K for break even. Neither should be responsible for the dire form though.

I think Mowbray decided some time ago we were not going to make the play off's and has been preparing for next season. He will stay at least another season, there will not be too many offers coming his way I would guess. He has some good qualities but is flawed in a number of ways. He would not be managing us if it was otherwise. Sit back and enjoy the rest of the season (no pressure) and wait for the big one in 2016/2017

That's very concerning as we were in the top 4 for over half the season.

I really hope so,but can't see it myself .If he doesn't I don't think there's
any chance of us getting anyone better,not just him but his backroom as
well.Think he's very genuine as well and get the impression he would
really love to get something going here.
Something has gone wrong this season.ive no doubt something will go
wrong next season,just as it has in previous seasons.
I know who I hold responsible and it's not Mowbray.

Really like the bloke and overall the general direction of travel is good. We might have to write off a couple of seasons, but it'll be worth it if he gets an entire squad of his own choosing and develops the youth setup according to his plans. The club needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

We really don't help ourselbes by swapping managers so frequently; we have chased short term success with short term solutions. Guess what = this means we have not succeeded over the longer term. Who'd have thought??

I don't think Tony is the messiah, but as with every other manager, I say give him three years and judge him on the fourth. He'll need to win more than 4 games in 4 months over that time, but if it brings the renewal we need, I'll take a few years in mid-table L1.
