I don't get why Lorentzon gets dropped, injury?

No consistency at all.

Ricketts and Murphy retain their places after another woeful match. Lorentzen loses his place despite being one of the best players on the pitch on Tuesday. Lameiras should get a full 90 as well?

Where's the logic?

Lamerias has been shit every time he has been given a chance since December onwards, he hasn't deserved the chance, Murphy yes has been poor but offers us something nobody else does which is pace.

At fault for the goal as i said, plus Phillips is perhaps a bit more Athletic, and impressed for the U21's recently
Yeah and Phillips hasn't been responsible for a stack of goals has he! ;)

Also, using your logic, how is Ricketts still being picked, if TM is dropping people because they made a mistake?

Yet Murphy still plays..

Try's something different - Team selection gets slagged off
Stays the same - Team selection gets slagged off
Eats a scotch egg - Team selection gets slagged off

etc.

I didn't say he wasn't just offering a reason why?

Ricketts is captain would be my guess.
Also as i said in a previous post, Phillips is most likely getting his last chance, to see whether he is worth another contract.
Gillingham play 3 at the back with pacey Wing backs, Phillips is a much better match than Lorentzson, plus with 3 at the back, we will most likely need players on the overlap which Phillips can do to an extent

If Mowbray stays I bet his first signing after the seasons finished will be bigiamarana to replace fleck.

And one player with Pace is enough is it? We had three players for the first half of the season with pace, when we play with one it's easier to mark
It depends if they use it or not doesn't it? It's ok having a sprint twice a game but getting out run by full backs on the ball every time and standing there hands on hips to watch their attack develop.

Bigi is a curious one. Looked good first half against Peterbrough and then went to pot in the second half. He's had so long out from the world of football since his little purple patch at Newcastle some 2-3 years ago.

Can a manager bring out that potential or is he just quite simply not good enough? I'm still not sure.

I'm not going to completely write him off though, despite it seemingly being "in vogue"

He has no pace at all. He can't hardly move forward.

Hopefully Armstrong will come on and bring some pace!

Still want to see him and Jones playing together.
