Unfortunately due to the short shortsightedness of OB / CCFC there will be a few hundred Millwall in the home ends. Why they didn't give us more tickets, I don't know.

I could understand if the game was a total sell out.

Hopefully there will be no trouble

Very much so, but for some bizarre reason everyone thinks its the 80s when Millwall travel away unfortunately

Nothing to worry about in my book very silly, should just give them the tickets its not like we are even close to the away section anyway.

Didn't the police say not to sell tickets? Not sure what the SCG have to do with it.

Lets be honest they dont help themselves though do they, its fine to say "its not the 80's" anymore but they fight amongst themselves just as much as they want to fight other teams. They are finally seeing the reprocussions of their actions for countless years.

You have to feel sorry for the fans that simply go to watch the match, hopefully the 1900 or whatever they have sold have gone to the proper fans who want to watch their team on a promotion push. There should be no pay on the day in any blocks if they are concerned which they clearly are.

They should let them have as many tickets as they want but keep them in the ground for an hour after the game, what if the extra fans travel anyway and start causing trouble before the game and during the game outside, millwall should then be told they are paying for any damage their fans cause to the Ricoh.

I am not attending this one as I have another child's birthday party to go to with my son what is it with booking stuff on a Saturday match day bloody egg chasing fans.

"they fight amongst themselves just as much as they want to fight other teams" Really?, are you referring to the one incident at Wembley where a drunken bloke knocked over a kid. Due to the incompetence of the Police, who were more than happy to stand by and watch, It then escalated into a full scale fight. If not that one then what other fight's between ourselves are you thinking of?

Millwall fans probably are stuck in the 80's, we don't do the same old songs that every single premiership club sing, we don't do replica kits, drums, clappers etc. The majority of the support you will see are blokes between 18 - 60, you will be lucky to see more than a dozen replica shirts, few women or kids.

For the 1,900 travelling we will only be running 1 coach, the majority will travel by train and pile into the nearest pubs

I am not in any way suggesting we don't have some hooligans that follow us but we are more sinned against than sinners, often the local hardmen will try and make a name for themselves by picking on small groups of us, but the difference is that most Millwall will stand and back each other up. We tend not to do "banter" if the home crowd are giving it the biggun, offering it outside then it's likely that some will take them up.

No one will go to their correct seats, you stand where you want, stand throughout the game and iIf the stewards and police are relaxed and not picking on individuals it will go just fine without too much trouble at all. Unless we are playing the likes of West Ham then 99.9% of our fans go for football, meet up with mates and a piss up.

You don't sound very convincing, there appears to be a lot of veiled threats in there................ like if we don't get our own way we'll kick off springs to mind !

DOesnt look great though does it on national TV though, I was at the Playoff final Scunthorpe v Millwall, I saw in fighting there on the walk back down Wembley way after the game. Im sure you saw the video of the police officers at the den getting punched earlier this season, there were no away fans involved there but I am sure you will tell me that the police started that aswell and it wasnt your fault. Trouble follows you around and that cant be a coincidence.

A few years back I was in Leeds and at Elland Road the day your "fans" smashed up all the buses and the varsity pub in the city centre, yes Leeds fans were there enticing you however we gave them 6,000 away tickets a few years later, why wouldnt we cap their tickets if they were just as badly behaved?

Highlighted comments, very fair comments and certainly how it usually is for us when we go away or at least when its the hardcore lot anyway, not the 1 away season wonders looking for their seat.

Seen a few of their "away day" videos this year all mouth to be fair, lots of shouting in funny accents, wouldn't worry about it to be fair.

In their defence, sometimes the police can be excessive or look to make something happen, also Millwall Leeds goes way back, both as bad as eachother.

I used to drink in the Wheel pub on Sewall Highway,and that chap used to come in every Friday night selling fish stuff. he had to pack it in because for some reason he was told it was now against the law. Probably another silly rule coming from Brussels !

I was in the Three Horse Shoes pub before the Swindon game when a charity collector dressed as an Easter rabbit was told she couldn't collect in the pub,not really giving her a reason. She had a badge on and she was shocked at the pubs attitude,so maybe like selling fish it's now illegal ?

My post wasn't intended to be a veiled threat, sorry if it came over that way - was more of a "leave us alone, don't get heavy handed"

Yes, the police getting a few digs in at The Den will have been reported as "Millwall hooligans attacking police" in reality it should have said "Millwall fans bravely intervene to stop an 80 year old man from being ejected by stewards and police over not sitting in his seat as it was raining and he wanted to stay undercover, didn't go into concourse as others did as his grandson was still in his seat watching the game" But that doesn't make good headlines does it?

I shall leave you in peace, let's hope for a trouble free away win on the 16th
