They didn't come out with it, did they? It was CRFC.
Not what I am saying and you know that but Haho, if it makes you happy carry on.

The Trust are not being negative at all, we are being cautious.
In principle and the right set up it could be ideal but we cannot just say its all fine and dandy if its not.
At same time we still need to negotiate with the Ricoh as what ever happens we need a home in the medium term.
Who is, Steve or the trust? His posts as Steve make more sense I think.Fuck off mate. You are spectacularly out of kilter with Cov fans on this one. Pack up and go home.
something's got lost in translation.

If course not.Care to come and tell me in person?
Can't all be libertarians.Actually, I thought that was exactly what you were saying as that is what was written. So, what are you saying then?
If course not.
They all have things to say and moan about but do nothing never attend trust meetings just like to bash anyone who tries to do something.
Instead of bashing on here they need to come along and put their points across and see where they can help.
It's a shame that the previous statement didn't have the same neutral stance.tbh I don't understand that statement. Applaud their attempts to remain neutral and positive for all options, but something's got lost in translation.
Thread will only be used for a bashing tool so doubt it will be helpful. As an aside, do you think some kind of 'volunteers wanted' bit on their website, where they put what they're lacking might be useful? Maybe even some kind of thread on here that says how we can help the trust?
We appreciate the need for the club to have access to non-football revenue streams and, if a move to an expanded Butts stadium would encourage financial stability and team development, then it could be worthy of consideration.
“It would also make it easier for some fans to access the stadium by public transport. That and its central location we believe would be attractive to many Sky Blue supporters.
“We therefore welcome the potential collaboration of officials from Coventry City FC and Coventry Rugby Club in exploring the possibilities of such a groundsharing venture.
“Not withstanding the likely time scales involved in both the planning and building phases, we would also have some concerns that the Butts site would be too small to accommodate a stadium of sufficient size to serve the club’s and fans’ ambitions for a return to the top flight of English football.
“There would be no scope to replicate the scale of car parking available at the Ricoh, putting great pressure on the surrounding neighbourhoods. Also, of course, large car parks at the Ricoh are a valuable source of revenue.
“Our view remains that the club’s focus should be on negotiations with the owners of the Ricoh for a long-term deal there, incorporating a substantially greater share of stadium income for Coventry City FC.
“Throughout this process we urge both clubs to fully consult with supporters and involve them as much as possible in taking forward future plans.”

More than happy to do that or a sub forum for trust statements etcA closed thread, where only a Trust rep can post?
Football fans will disagree with the fans group representing them.Thread will only be used for a bashing tool so doubt it will be helpful.

Exactly, I think constructive criticism is ok, things like Andreas post is silly.Goes back to the thick skin bit, and weeding out the mentalists from the constructive criticism.
Like they perhaps disagree with some people on here. That Nick is a two way street.By attacked do you mean disagreed with?
Did he agree with your stance then?Again to be fair he came on the radio and did say crowd capacity in terms of revenue isn't an issue, he had looked at the opinions on this forum and gave a view.
It's not unreasonable to point out concerns which do stem from sisu and the past history.
It was reasonable and looked at both sides of the debate.

And you are a fine representative of the intelligent attitude of city fans? Really? How did you assess the kilter of Coventry fans out of interest?Fuck off mate. You are spectacularly out of kilter with Cov fans on this one. Pack up and go home.
Not too impressed with that to be honest. It doesn't make sense. They say don't go to the Butts as it wouldn't allow PL football ignoring the fact clubs with smaller stadiums are in the PL and we have zero chance of getting to the PL as tenants of Wasps
It's odd that on here and social media the comments are mainly positive yet the CT, Trust and CCC all manage to be negative.
Can someone please disband the trust, they don't represent the fans views or thoughts.
Did they miss the bit where Anderson has said he has tried to negotiate and wasps weren't interested.
very strange, never heard any of our fans refer to us as a "Midlands Football Club".
Ironic also, too many people want things to happen just to get at SISU.
http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/ricoh-talks-failing-and-butts-more-attractive.65369/unreadI did miss it. Do you have a link to an article?
Goes back to the thick skin bit, and weeding out the mentalists from the constructive criticism.
That's 97% of the forum weeded out then!
Very probably!
Seriously though, I wouldn't want to be a local journalist, SBT board member, Tim Fisher or Anne Lucas and look in on this place.
Funny you say that, I have had an interesting message from somebody at the club who wants to work with this site! (nothing to do with politics etc etc)
Are we all going to build a stadium?
