So what we're concluding is it's once teams reach the top flight they go for a big capacity, not before they get there...
Liverpool are but that's Liverpool, other teams I believe are looking to move to bigger or
expand there current capacity are , Norwich, palace, West Ham, Leicester, Swansea,
Man city, Bournemouth, Everton, hull ,there may be others .
Yeah all top flight teams apart Norwich , and they will probably put it on hold nowAll top flight teams apart from Hull how probably will be. And you "believe" they are? As for West Ham, well that's a special case I think.
Not sure what the point comparing us to established PL teams is.
Yeah all top flight teams apart Norwich , and they will probably put it on hold now
they've been relegated.
As I said I think West Ham are a special case here so not them necessarily, but do you have any links to teams that are actually going to DO it and expand?
We have been aiming for promotion every season?
If you don't believe the funding is there, then this whole discussion is pointless, as it will never happen so you have nothing to worry about?
Yes they don't go for a stadium that can never reach the big capacitySo what we're concluding is it's once teams reach the top flight they go for a big capacity, not before they get there...

No torch I couldn't, think Everton are moving and have narrowed it down to two sites, butAs I said I think West Ham are a special case here so not them necessarily, but do you have any links to teams that are actually going to DO it and expand?
How many are actually now redeveloping?

Out of 20 teams there are only 4 with 25k capacity or less.
Swansea
have permission to develop to 32k and haven't despite having a waiting list for season ticket holders which is a very worrying example for for us.
(Thousands of fans missing out)
C.Palace
Although season ticket prices went up by an average of 21% following promotion, they are still among the cheapest in the division and have since been frozen for two seasons. Attendances have grown from below 15,000 six years ago to just under 25,000 this season.
Parish is well aware of the need for growth in the other revenue streams: “We’re about £12 million away from the next step up: Everton, Villa, West Ham, Newcastle. We’re clicking at £22 million non-TV income. They’re at £35-£39 million. That’s the only dial we can move: bigger, nicer stadium.”
A combination of these factors mean that Palace’s match day revenue is one of the lowest in the Premier League. To place their £10 million into context, Arsenal generates over £100 million a year from this revenue stream, which means that they earn more from three matches than Palace do in an entire season.
As mentioned, one of the main drivers of accepting external investment was to provide funds to develop the stadium, expanding Selhurst Park to a 40,000 capacity arena, including 2,000 lucrative, corporate seats.
(Need the expansion to compete with the top half teams)
Bournmouth
Again worrying for us the have everything place to expand.
They are getting thousands of complaints from fans who are not getting tickets.
Despite this days ago they have delayed the expansion over negotiations to buy the stadium.
(Thousands of fans missing out)
Watford
just expanded theirs last year so I imagine it will be a bit of time before they do again
The other 16 teams have more than the 25k capacity we are suggesting would be sufficient.
Crystal palaces own fans believe expansion is impossible and nothing has happened.
Swansea have had planning permission for 2 years and now believe it will cost £50 million. It's supposed to be done in 3 phases - it's not started has it?
Burnley haven't 25,000 have they?
Swansea is just as I said probably the most worrying example for us regarding staged stadium increases.
The demand is there 1000's of fans are missing out.
They have everything in place to expand and still have not!!
Crystal Palaces owner believes it will happen and he has now taken on the investment to do it.
I was looking at this season's premier league. Haven't researched Burnleys plans.
Most haven't any real plans - just talk
How's Swansea doing with their development? Have the owners moved forward yet in their spat with the council?
Have palace actually got planning permission? When's the building due to happen?
You do realise you are pointing out that you don't think stadium expansion happen. Whilst you are pushing the "a 15k stadium is big enough for us" line
No what I'm doing is being consistent. You by quoting these expansions are not.
As long as we get into a stadium that holds 20,000 I know I'll be going if I'm not dared or infirm - I couldn't care less who isn't.
The Sisu fight goes on .... be it through a third party.
Continue to defend the indefencable !!

I've already said it's big enough for me as I'll be there and I don't care if we never make the premier league in my lifetime. It's a stadium of 15k and you say expansions don't happen.
I am been very consistent
25k isn't big enough if we got to the Prem. That's if we ever expanded to it.
15k starting point definitely isn't big enough.
I would back an starting stadium of 18-23 k that isn't limited and can expand to 30k if ever needed.
Simple and more than reasonable and more than achievable.

I hate the premier league.
I do wonder if other clubs have fans who treat fellow fans with utter disdainNo what I'm doing is being consistent. You by quoting these expansions are not.

You said 20k is big enough
Not 15k
I do wonder if other clubs have fans who treat fellow fans with utter disdain
Or is it just us.

Other fans wouldn't bend over backwards and allow some wankers from London to occupy our stadium.
On a similar note I don't believe fans of other clubs would have put up with the ownersOther fans wouldn't bend over backwards and allow some wankers from London to occupy our stadium.
