Is just an over the top trailer for be a pro or is it actually a re launch of it where they have improved it massively

critics wise fifa lost to pes 16 last year
and so far same seems to be happening again.
pes 17 winning all early awards for best sports games and hands on reviews of gameplay are all positivly beaming. even in head to head articles its being picked over fifa 17 right now
exciting. all depends on if rubber banding has been removed from online games like fifa has been plagued with for decade

I don't think there is much point listening to critics, best way is to just play them both and see which is preferred. It is all well and good the critics saying PES 16 was the best game but it was in the bargain bins by the new year and offered up a freebie version as well to try and get people playing it.
Online issues like you say are the only things that really annoy me, but it happened on PES too.

sheep will buy fifa and COD every year, it does not make it a better game,
graphics are always better on pes and so is gameplay, with a more sim like feel. fifa will always sell more as people want prem branding, or alan smith on commentary cos hes on sky too innit? but gameplay wise it just cannot match up to pes.

The WWE 2K games have something that is probably very similar. Works pretty well in that but I"m not sure how well it will work in FIFA.

A lot of Youtubers that went to E3 have said they expect Fifa to be the better game come September, but ATM PES is on top.
Personally going to stick with FIFA as it's a more realistic game, and the online features aren't as dead as PES.
Look like The Journey' is actually a copy from the NBA series, which as a storyline was really really good, so it should be an exciting feature.

Are you on crack? I am dismissing them because I will try them both for myself. The same as I don't decide whether to watch a film or not because of what it says in a review.
Whether it says FIFA is the best or PES, I'll get them both and decide what I like.

I think you are being rather hypocritical aren't you?
Nick has clearly said he will just wait and see which game he prefers, and is stating his opinion? And you are dismissing his view because it isn't the one you WANT.
Most youtubers are paid money to give positive reviews online to be fair, and yes that can work both ways, as some have said they expect FIFA to be better.
I don't see why you are 'tearing' anyone apart, over a game.... Must be a sad life? If people want to 'sheep' then let them, it's their money. I think a lot of people wish to stay with the tried and trusted option of FIFA, as it would end up coasting nearly £100, if you try PES and you don't like it.
Furthermore, the mention of the 90th min winner. The fact that there is added time during the 90th minute on FIFA, increases the chances of scoring in this time by 3-4 times. Not only this, but players are tired, and substitutes with more energy are on the pitch. OMG is that similar to real life or what?

Yeah i mean real licences, stadiums, Kits, ETC. But I personally don't like the feel of PES, admittedly i didn't try this years, as I have been so put off in the past , and i hear it is a better game. I do acknowledge the flaws of FIFA, although I think EA will begin to put more effort, now that PES has made a massive catch up. I think EA got comfortable which is why we saw no real change between 13-15, will be interesting to see this year.

Well we have seen things like that at this Euro's Russia scored against England with their only shot on target? That doesn't happen every game it happens ever so often, so how can that be scripting? Considering around 27% of goals in the premier league are scored in the last 10 mins of games, I think the scoring so late in games makes sense.
I also prefer it for it's game modes, Ultimate team is the best invention in the field. The Journey will be a brilliant addition if it works.

Which version are we talking? You had to do it all manually last year on PS4, even with a keyboard plugged in it was an arduous task. I got as far as the load of blank teams and decided doing the Bundesliga entirely from scratch could go swivel

Oh yeah that takes a few mins tops, I'm talking absolutely everything that's missing and/or needs renaming so the Master League mode is even bigger and there are no blank teams. Now somebody else will do that and upload it, we live in magical times.
While I hate the typing, attaching the kits is one of my favourite parts. So many people making those ace retro strips.

its so obvious on both games. all of a sudden 1 team loses every header,1 team has every pass intercepted, 1 teams can pressure 1 team cannot, and of course all of a sudden opposition striker is super strong and fast till goal is scored.
keep an eye out for it next time
aj-i have not played master league in a long time, if CPU AI is betetr this year maybe i will give it a try,but for me its alla bout online so if its broken it really ruins game for me.
as it stands i have played pes 16 40% as much as i played 15 and 20% as much as i played 13(didnt get 14)
only play when familiy or friends come by.

why do people have to 'back up' whether they like a game for? You seem to be the only one bothered about comparing the two games and berating people for wanting to play FIFA. I play it because it kills an hour or so when I have time, it plays well and that's all I care about!
