You are clearly struggling to understand. So if someone makes a post that you disagree with they're lying? Lmfao. I had a f**king good shit half an hour ago... Do you believe me or would you like a link?
out & about having a few sherberts with CCFC folk
& this sale,
together with the season ticket announcement has both infuriated & angered our fans,
to quote 1 fan, who i know has been a regular for the last 15yrs,
'that's it, they're taking the p***, they/ve seen the last of me'
& to quote another,
re the season ticket statement,
'what the f*** is going on, they don't want punters do they'
CCFC owners - kings of the own goal
What a load of self indulgent rubbish from the Trust.Sky Blue Trust - Statement On The Sale Of Romain Vincelot
"Following the loss of John Fleck, at the end of his contract to another League 1 club, the sale of Romain Vincelot also to one of our rivals has seen responses from many Coventry City fans ranging from bewilderment and disappointment to anger and dismay.
On behalf of our members and all CCFC supporters, the Sky Blue Trust would like to know how the loss of another of our key midfield players will help the football club to realise its ambition to secure promotion."

A supporters trust holding the powers that be accountable for the decision making at the club? Whatever next!Christ, back to the old ways then.
A supporters trust holding the powers that be accountable for the decision making at the club? Whatever next!
They're not happy unless there's something for them to moan about. It's been too long since they could blame Sisu for something. After the manager has come out and said it was down to him for footballing reasons?
It is more like the Supporters Trust trying to whip up a frenzy again.
Strange how they ignore a large section of fans on here who actually see it making sense.
Perhaps the trust would like to explain how we could keep a player offered double wages at another club motivated? Or should we double his wages and extend his contract.
The manager made the decision which is his right.A supporters trust holding the powers that be accountable for the decision making at the club? Whatever next!
the trust are pathetic. they have tried to turn a player transfer into another reason to hit out at sisu. ridiculous
Why not use that to hit out? If it's true that we had to sell a player for five figures, in order to fund other transfers, when the squad is already beyond depleted then it's a perfect time.
Even if it is true that TM wanted different options for this season, the fact that he had to sell someone for so little without having definite replacements is what a lot of fans (the ones that are talking about returning season tickets and NOPM) seem to find worrying.

Mowbray has already given statements about it hasn't he saying to Trust him and Venus?
This statement will now be rolled out in the CET, where more of a frenzy will be whipped up..
So why is he in the paper telling everybody to trust him?
Surely the trust are showing no faith in the manager?
Like I've asked on the SCG question thread "what is this years budget" it may well have been TM's decision but under what circumstances has he made that decision? If he's been told that this seasons budget is smaller than last seasons (quite possible given that the figures were apparently cocked up so badly last season) then his only choice might be to sell one of our best players to bring in a couple to fill the squad out, especially when TM has also said that he doesn't want to be so reliant on loans this season so we need a bigger percentage of our squad to be our own players. He has to cut our cloth according to our means. It's not as simple as you are trying to make out and personally all I think that the trust are trying to do is flush out the details of our circumstances. You think that they're trying to whip up a frenzy and in your case and a few others that seems to have worked. Maybe you have a point there, you've just failed to recognize that you're the one in the frenzy.
He has to cut our cloth according to our means
Because part of his job is to engage with PR. As the man that started the Celtic huddle he knows a thing or two about that.
Personally I trust TM to do the best with the poor hand he's dealt. Last year he did better than I anticipated. However, selling before you buy, particularly when we've lost so many players isn't ideal.
Serious question for you Nick:
If it were you in TM's shoes, would you rather: bring in the replacements and then sell those deemed surplus to requirements and not fitting your idea of a team, or, sell those not needed and then hope to agree terms with targets a couple of weeks before the season starts?
He decided it was worth doing. He didn't have to do it.Why not use that to hit out? If it's true that we had to sell a player for five figures, in order to fund other transfers, when the squad is already beyond depleted then it's a perfect time.

Yes, quite clearly in a frenzy. It seems most people think it is a bit pointless after the manager has come out and talked about it in the press.
The same as 90% of other managers in the football league.
You have more faith in SISU than me! Just because he tries to spin something positively, doesn't mean he had a choice. Likewise, you may be correct and it was his choice, I guess we'll have to wait till his autobiography is out to see what he really thought of SISU!
Clearly in a frenzy, glad you agree.
How does our cloth compare to others in the league? Strangely quite on that this year aren't they? How do you know TM is having to make enforced decisions like this because of smaller budget constraints? It's only right that a supporters trust ask's for clarification on that and like you always used to say what's wrong with asking questions?

It isn't on behalf of anybody but the board and the people in and around them.
Mowbray has addressed it, he has said he is building and to trust him and Venus. If they don't, and think he is lying they should call for him to go.
If that statement was a day after the window closes, you could understand it.
This is exactly what I mean about you being in a frenzy. The trust statement doesn't say or suggest anyone is a lair or for anyone to go. In you're frenzy you've whipped that up yourself.
They've asked a question. That's all.
It's seeking clarification. That's all.
