What we asked Wasps
Are you willing to re-commence talks about extending CCFC's deal to play at the Ricoh Arena?

What would it take for talks about extending the club’s Ricoh Arena deal to resume?

If you foresee talks resuming, when do you think they can take place?

Would you be open to the idea of MPs, government officials, the RFU, the Football League or another relevant party mediating in these talks?

Do you think a deal can be reached which sees CCFC given access to the revenues the club says it needs to survive?

Would Wasps ever lock CCFC out of the Ricoh Arena?

Do Wasps want CCFC to leave Coventry?

Do Wasps have a moral obligation to accommodate CCFC at the stadium which was built for the football club?

What is Wasps’ position in relation to ongoing legal action by CCFC’s owners around the Ricoh Arena? Has this position been influenced by Coventry City Council?

When the city council agreed to sell its stake in Ricoh Arena firm ACL to Wasps it was agreed on the condition that it would not negatively impact the security and future of CCFC. If a deal can’t be agreed for CCFC to continue at the Ricoh, has that test been satisfied?

What we asked the RFU
Is there anyone at the RFU willing to discuss the situation at the club with me?

Would the RFU be prepared to intervene?

Is the RFU concerned by the situation at the Ricoh Arena?

How would the RFU feel about the situation if a team they had allowed to relocate almost 100 miles subsequently forced a football team out of a stadium which was built for them - and potentially its home city?

Is the RFU in contact with Wasps / CCFC about the situation?

Would the RFU be prepared to mediate?

What we asked Premiership Rugby
Is there anyone at Premiership Rugby willing to discuss the situation at the club with me?

Would Premiership Rugby be prepared to intervene?

Is Premiership Rugby concerned by the situation at the Ricoh Arena?

How would Premiership Rugby feel about the situation if a team they had allowed to relocate almost 100 miles subsequently forced a football team out of a stadium which was built for them - and potentially its home city?

Is Premiership Rugby in contact with Wasps / CCFC about the situation?

Would Premiership Rugby be prepared to mediate?

What we asked the FA
Is there anyone at the FA willing to discuss the situation at the club with me?

Does the FA intend to intervene?

Is the FA concerned by the situation at the club?

Can the FA prevent the owners taking the club out of the city again?

Is the FA in contact with Wasps / would it be prepared to mediate?

What we asked the Football League
Is the Football League concerned by the situation at the club?

Does the Football League intend to intervene?

Is the Football League in contact with Wasps / would it be prepared to mediate?

Will the Football League allow the owners to take the club out of the city again?

Is there anyone at the Football League willing to discuss the situation at the club with the Telegraph?

What we asked Sisu
Could we get an indication over whether there is any intention of dropping the ongoing legal proceedings in relation to the Ricoh Arena?

You will be aware the council has called for action to be dropped and Wasps have also publicly stated they see the legal action as a “distraction”. Would you like to respond to either of those positions?

Would you like to respond to the rather bizarre suggestion from the council leader that Sisu should pay out costs not awarded by the courts?

What we asked CCFC
Does the club still have a site for a new stadium in mind?

If so, are you able to say roughly how far away from Coventry city centre it is?

Has any progress been made towards securing the site?

Can you give any indication of initial capacity?

Would it be just a stadium, or would it also include Academy and first-team training facilities?

What’s the timeline for delivery of a new stadium?

If Simon gets met with a wall of silence off all these people, what hope have we got?

We haven't got any hope. All parties are c-units, but we're going down the toilet with SISU at the helm.

There won't be a club left soon, and the only way of going forward, even staying alive is some sort of new ownership (as mentioned I don't know how to do this on my own, but it needs to be discussed intensively with everyone on the same side).

SISU are killing the club with the best help from CCC, Wasps, Sport England etc.

These kind of questions that Simon has asked are helpful, but I feel that now it needs to be a list of questions aimed at SISU in regards to their future plans and especially how much they would sell the club for. We need to put them under pressure to fuck off, and come up with a way to make this happen.

Next time any of them (including CCFC or SISU) want to put out some sort of press release, then make it hard work for them...

People keep banging on about asking SISU how much they want for the club, there is no hope that they will be answered, the same as if the Wasps owner was asked how much he would want to sell it. Some of the other questions are a bit random, would never expect an answer to them.

Not sure why he is surprised about not getting a reply. For example what interest is it to RFU or Aviva Premiership if CCFC haven't got an agreement,

There needs to be a march through the city type protest again. We need large numbers and a lot of pressure on SISU. At least something of that style that is going to generate some noise and put them in a position where they have to answer. At the moment they are almost being held completely unaccountable. We almost need Anderson and Joy in a room with a microphone and a gun to their heads.

To be honest what interest is RFU and The Aviva Premiership?

Gilbert is two years too late, pointless CT asking questions now when they've never asked any in the past.
Of course he isn't, these are the opening shots of what will be a difficult time, all his questions are reasonable which although there are no answers yet they will all have to be answered sometime, puts all parties under pressure and I expect it to be grabbed by the national press soon.

They are reasonable, I agree. However, it would have been nice if CT had been asking these when news that Wasps were coming to Coventry. Every body from Press, council and most fans just let it happen without a word.

For me, just one key question missing from those directed at Wasps - do you have any intention of owning CCFC?
Not that this would be answered either.

Don't we get our Sisu answers on here from the few people who justify their actions on here.
"Although Sisu started it it's now everybody else at fault"

You see, unfortunately that's the kind of stuff I'm on about. It's unhelpful and will not aid us in making any progress.

Everyone knows SISU are at fault more than most, but the witch hunt from CCC, Wasps et al is something that should equally be taken seriously.

The RFU and The Aviva Premership should be interested in the conduct of one of their members.

If the Sky Blues are ultimately forced to move from the city and this can be attributed to Wasps not being willing to lease them time and space at the Ricoh Arena there will be the questions as to whether the rugby club has acted ethically and whether it is bringing the game of rugby into disrepute.

Look, it may be rather late and it may have been right to slag the CT off before in the past, but I think we need to applaud this. Well done at long last! They are now asking all the right questions and are questioning all sides.

No bias, just covering all bases and trying to get answers.

Now they need to keep pushing.

Change the record, as shit like that offers not a thing to the debate. I would hazard you write claptrap like this more than the few write any justification of SISU, whatever that is in your head.

Try and find answers not problems, as you like to say, and take you tin foil hat off. Do you pride yourself on being divisive?

The trouble is that the answer lies with Sisu leaving.
When that happens relationships will re-establish with the club and we can all move on.

I tend to agree, Italia. Just can't see Sisu leaving though, not unless some fool like me throws cash their way.

What needs to happen now is to nag Fisher or Anderson as to where this other site is, should that be real (don't laugh) there's no real need to ask the others anything. This is where our MPs can earn their corn and I am talking all three.

Think we all know there is no intention to build a stadium.

I think they have just been pressing their faces up against car showroom windows and pointing at cars through the glass to declare an interest.

They definitely need to keep pushing. Think they also need to expand the questioning of SISU. Even if there is going to be a new stadium its not going to be in place by the time the existing deal runs out so they also need to be pushed on what contingency they have for that.

All sides need to be continued to be questioned.

The questions in the article are not worth anything if they dont follow them up and try and pressure some answers from all parties.

At least gilbert can say that he has asked them now, doubtful it will get followed up apart from the ones aimed at the club

They are the weak link in my opinion, because they or to be accurate Tim Fisher have made definite statements re a positive alternative site for a stadium, the local press, media and our MPs should be all over him like a rash, microphones shoved under his nose at every game until he confirms where this site is. And let's not forget this solicitor woman Sandra Garlick is supposedly involved in securing a site too.

Another article just appeared, Wasps happy to talk.
http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/wasps-very-happy-talk-coventry-11860447

So Messrs Anderson & Fisher is anything stopping you?
Not relevant to this thread though, which is about the Ricoh.

The club have already said they will talk and have offered dates for the week of the 19th. The FA and FL need to be there too, as we need to make sure any agreement is compliant to the cat 2 status.

One of the best articles that Simon has written, no bias, trying to hold all sides to account.

That's okay but haven't things moved on at pace although I see the Acadamy as important the "where are we going to play" scenario is by far more important, if we are able to get sisu round the table the ground has to be that that's talked about.

Why would SISU want to negotiate anything about the Ricoh at this time? It is not in their interest.

They are busy constructing a narrative of bring forced out of the Higgs centre and painting a picture of massive losses all brought about by the actions of CCC from whom they will look to extract damages. As I have said before I believe that There will be no deal reached to save the Cat 2 academy, they do not value it.

That aside the only cards SISU have to play is the we will move the club or we are going to build. Again the portrayal as victims for JR1 and then 2.
Building is not a credible option, the simple lack of a site coupled with the lack of funds makes it a non starter.

They could complete an agreement in principle to stay in an afternoon if they wanted. If they were to do so would weaken their stance regarding relocation and the narrative that they are being forced out. They want to take it to the wire because again it's another chance to point the finger.

The golden share is the only asset remaining so they will not liquidate and admin leaves them in a strong position as they are the major creditors to the club so any arrangements will have to be agreed by the administrator with them. I would think it virtually impossible for any other party to gain control of the club through admin. They can then lose any other debts and keep control whilst dragging CCC through the courts
