If the day the Wasps news came out, the Trust, the Telegraph and all of local media said.

"NO to Wasps, we dont want you here"

For example, do you think people would have thought any different to what they do?

(Just an example)
Nick in this instance SISU tried to play hardball with everyone, pissed everyone off
And pushed them to the limit, then the ball was knocked straight back down their
Fucking throat. They successfully distressed ACL just enough for Wasps too nip
In and grab the Ricoh, at this time we should have been in residence at the Ricoh
As owners.
They have nothing left here and should be harried and pressured until they go.

That had absolutely nothing to do with what I was saying though, which is standard really. Just move onto the next rant, don't take anything in that anybody else has to say, next rant, next rant.

You may be right as the internet advertising doesn't bring in much.... Share of royalties perhaps ;-)

I'm concerned about who is going to keep paying the wages and bills when Sisu are chased out of town, I don't like what they have done but is anyone else lined up ready to start spending, it's all good saying we want Sisu out but who do we want in?

Ok Nick I see what you're getting at, quite clever really but I won't be led down
Your path if you don't mind.

It isn't clever and it isn't a path.

I am pretty sure a lot more people would have thought differently wouldn't they?

Honestly didn't really know about this book from Simon Gilbert until this thread ironically.

I guess there is no such thing as bad press as they say.

Thats the concern but most people seem to be ignoring it with the old 'it can't be any worse'. You would have thought by now people would have learnt it can always get worse.

If there is someone waiting in the wings why not go public. It would be hard to imagine a serious purchaser who checks out financially etc wouldn't be welcomed with open arms by the vast majority.

On past experience keeping quiet gets better results.... Compare Haskell fanfare with Wasps sneaky deaky...

If everybody has more of a handle on what's going on then why do people often make so many incorrect statements? That's the thing.

If people can't see how the media can play people, refer back to Simon and his book launch.

People do make incorrect statements in both directions.
Such as references to Mr Mutton touching up Joy ect...
That's was far from correct however once it appears on here unless challenged. It becomes fact over time. Like SISU are pocketing money from the club.
Or that Mr Anderson said the negotiations stopping had nothing to do with the legal action (he never actually said that)
So you are right, stuff is repeated that isn't correct by a lot of people.

Who said he touched her up? Are you referring to what I said when it was asked something about what has Joy said that's true and I said that it wasn't about "mutton touching her up or whatever it was she said".

Can you do me a favour while you are going through and do a tally for them and see what we get?

While in general I'd agree I think this time there's a difference. If people are being asked to push SISU to sell knowing there is a new owner waiting is a big plus.

Unless you're suggesting, similar to the Wasps deal, there is someone lined up to takeover on the basis the deal is done on the cheap so there is a desire to make SISU walk and write off as much as possible. Although its hard to imagine a bidding war for the club with the state we're in.

In my opinion they got rid Steve Waggot because he made a miscalculation over breaking even.
So hopefully they are closer now to this magic break even point where the club self funds.

The most destructive thing IMNSHO is to get behind, or dismiss, one figurehead potentialnewowner.

Better, in an ideal sense, to get to the concept of SISU being prepared to sell (i.e. saying it - of course they'd sell for the right price) and then allowing for an open auction/bidding process where we can see just what type of chancers we get to pick from.

To close off to one choice would be repeating the SISU move that brought them here in the first place.

I don't know, only things I can think of are personal attacks.

I don't know if Mutton did try and touch her up or whatever it was she said though.

The stadium stuff, just file it in the BS cupboard.

(Now maybe I have missed it because there has been a hell of a lot said, but I honestly can't recal Joy ever accusing him of doing that, apologies if I missed it)

I recall Stupot (I think) and Grendel the other day talking as if it is fact that Mr Anderson said the legals were not the reason the talks broke down. He never said that he said he didn't know enough about that side of things to comment.

Obviously you are aware of people stating about SISU pocketing millions as you reference to it a lot.

You would like me to start tallying when people refer to things that didn't happen or get the facts wrong?

Sod that, You are the IT geek designed me a statistical package and I will implement it :)

Yes, the post where I was saying the only thing I could think of that would be true are the personal attacks.

Note the "whatever it was she said" that is on there.....

I thought you had found me saying "Yes but Mutton kept touching up Joy" or something like that.

Has she ever said anything like that?
I haven't even heard anything remotely like it.
I recall him in the ethics hearing saying he doesn't agree with her saying there was a personal vendetta and he gave them hugging at the end of meetings as an example that they got on well. But that was him referring to that not her.

Is that what you were referring to or is it something else I have completely missed?

Yep, I wasn't sure at the time which is why I made it clear I wasn't sure.

Thinking about it, I think the words were aggressive and sexist. It was also said they "embraced".

Not outside Moscow Central - is it within 7 miles or whatever
Khimki is about 11.5 miles from Moscow centre, and is now incorporated within the Moscow city boundary.

Strange how news come out that could make the council and wasps look bad. What else is to come?

More coincidences again :(

It's ok, you can keep taking the piss and I will just keep pointing out there is more to things than meet the eye, deal?
What basis do you have for saying that, is it because your tinfoil helmet has some holes in it? :)

News coming out about possibility of the Butts move being resurrected so the Telegraph propaganda machine clicks into overdrive despite nothing having changed for the last 2 years or so in their relationship. The Telegraph are looking to get planning permission on their old site before they sell it. Please tell me who will approve the planning permission? Nothing more than pure coincidence surely?
The telegraph will probably have shut down within the next 2-3 years due to massively dwindling sales. They are getting everything in place to maximise their assets before they close and the odd sweetener to the council will no doubt help their cause.
If the posters on here believe that the telegraph are doing it for the fans then I'd like to ask each one to 'lend' me a tenner. I promise to give it back, honest.
