Prefer he didn't say anything tbh, if it passes 23rd Dec and still nothing it doesn't bode well after all the promises we have been fed by the current board these last 6 months.

atleast you only have to wait 2 more days for santa tho so every cloud has a silver lining n all that ;);):D:D

If that really was from Richard Keys then I guess he must read this forum also. That being the case I say to him: " Don't mess about this time, if you or your consortium have a geniune bid then please put it to this Sisu rabble and make sure they accept it."

But say what?
We already know what sisu are.
Problem is again how would we know that they would be telling the truth? It would just be believing something/someone had offered ex but without any actual facts.
Not against anyone not trying to get these tits out but I could say well I offered sisu ex and promised to do ex that does not mean that I would be telling the truth.
Just wish something would happen and if it does great.:D
I have maintained that if someone wants to buy sisu out it has to happen before the close of the January transfer window, otherwise I can see any takeover happening dwindling out until sisu decide they want to go, because as an invester who would want to buy a club to invest in if they are in a lower division in all honesty when they could just go else where.
Will beleive when I see it though but lets hope.
Maybe santa might just exist after all, but knowing our luck we'll end up with ebenezer scrooge and it won't be Marley and Marley it would be Iggy and Dooley being the ghosts.

Stop saying sisu ex, it's too close to sex, and I'm envisaging some terrible tanned-porn...and you said tits out as well...and especially when you consider that Portugal is a hotbed for gay porn (so I'm told by a former colleague whose brother has been working in the Portuguese gay porn industry for many years!).

I would guess its a gee-up if there is to be any transfer loan activity in Jan ,if it happens of course,if Sisu are philibustering.

Yeah I'm really bored of Keys now, either do something, or don't.... I'm bored of the talk...

I was trying to come up with a "bet you smashed it" joke, but I can't I can't be bothered.

If there is something going on then going public is hardly a threat if it amounts to nothing. What about this shared funding nonsense from SISU this has to be a worry.?

Such heavy scepticism when they're having to deal with eejits who could'nt lie straight in bed.

How can no-one be sceptical when all you get is false this that and the other from both sides not just one.
It's like there all playing games on trying to get one over each other all the time.
Frankly at the moment I don't trust any of them and to do so would be mad in my opinion, as there just like politions haggling for approval.

Whether or not he reads this forum, I dont think either of those points would be in question. I just hope to god he can be part of a new revolution that can bring our club out of the dolldrums. We need miracles at the minute, if Mr Keys can help to pull this off we should build a hairy statue

@TSKeysandGray Richard, it was rumoured that today GH might be offering a renewed bid. Any substance to that?

I'm mega-sceptical, of course...but it does sound encouraging. Any glimmer of hope is something, I suppose. But then, the fact that he's reserving the option to, what sounds like, somehow blackmail SISU, well that perhaps implies that there is one hell of a long way to go yet in "negotiations".

i'm not saying this was not put on twitter and I am not rubbishing what it said, but it's a bit unprofessional and not very helpful putting this on twitter, and people say ken leaked stuff and heres keys telling stuff on twitter, sorry but I would have thought it would be being done abit more professionally if anything was happening.

IF you want a noose round our clubs neck for the next five years ,then i'm sure Sisu are trying there hardest to achieve by hanging on and making this club as unappealing as possible to any potential suitor,as we'll be languishing around the lower reaches of the league below,if there is to be a takeover it needs to be prior to the window as you've said yourself ,theres nothing unproffessional about giving a gee up ,its twitter everyone uses it and he's responded to two questions .they're like pikeys trying to run everything down around them so no one wants in ,and as stated in another thread will act like loansharks feeding off this club for years and years taking everything possible out .Ichan your posts seem to indicate you want to be all things to all people ,no offense jMO,they are acting in a wreckless vandalistic manner, you need to get off the fence ,how you can compare the two astounds me,i don't understand the sceptism and mocking of suucessful people from coventry who made something of themselves ,smacks of envy when all they are doing is trying to save our club from these mercenaries, regarding my other posts on turner ,gunnerson going to Cardiff way below market value that stands ,as does my Mcdonald stance ,Conspiracy no JMO,mock if you wish

From what I can see money doesn't appear to be the problem. The difficulty seems to be how to force SISU to the negotiating table to seriously discuss a take over when their current stance is "don't want to sell, want investors to share the load". If, as has been mentioned, there is a billionaire involved who is prepared to put significant money into the club, surely that person would require a controlling interest in return for their investment. I see this situation as a major sticking point. I hope this consortium has some leverage to force SISU to sell.

I'm fully behind Keys and Hoffman. Just because the takeover hasn't happened yet doesn't make them liars. They can't force SISU to negotiate and are big City fans.

I'm glad Keys tweeted and has threatened to reveal all and shame SISU - no organisation wants to be publicly humiliated and it might drive them out.

I'm not surprised that some people are sceptical about this, but I'm prepared to give Richard Keys the benefit of the doubt. Taken at face value, this gives us some hope, and let's face it, we have bugger all else that gives us hope. Let's wait and see what 23/12 brings. As for the threat to go 'VERY public', I can only assume that it will be something embarrassing about SISU's negotiating tactics (or their refusal to negotiate at all).

I agree totally. I would rather we didn't hear anything until the deed was done. Now, Keys tweets "10 days" and everybody works out that's 23rd December, so we'll all now be expecting a big announcement two days before Xmas. If that happens, great. If it doesn't...

For me, false hope and promises of potential takeovers is as bad as SISUs, "looking to share the load" claptrap.

How can no-one be sceptical when all you get is false this that and the other from both sides not just one.
