Hello there Sheffield united fan in peace here,
I just wanted to say a few words from the my view which i believe represents the view of the majority of blades fans.

Firstly i want to say that the majority of blades do think what is happening to your club is appalling and out of the many fans i spoke to pre game most of them feel sorry for Coventry fans at what is happening.
Now to the pro SISU chanting which i want to highlight was done by the minority of fans. From my view the reason this took place was mainly due to the fact that in our end people were telling each other the game was getting called off during your pitch invasion. This cause many of our fans to become frustrated (including me) as it had cost quite a lot of money to get down there for the night. Also the fact that fighting between fans started occurring and what seemed like half of your stadium blowing those whistles all night didn't really help the situation.

Anyway all the best for the rest of season and i reallu do hope SISU sells up

Appreciate the attempt at the olive branch but like others have pointed out the chants from Sheffield United started way before the mass invasion at the end. Unless you mean the one guy who got on in the first half

im sure all of you are adults

david prob didnt chant it himself so no need to tarnish him

and david deep down knows why their were whistles so no need to retailiate like that

be friends.
How exactly do you consider blowing a whistle for 90 mins a form of protest...? to me its just simply an annoyance. If you want to protest there are much better ways of doing it.Now they got caught on live tv doing it, which will only lead to repercussions from the FA towards the club and to the people involved.Seems a bit pointless to me..

As always you do have an element of muppets in any fan base. I'm sure the vast majority of united fans agreed with the principle of what we were doing.

The whistles were a needed part of the protest for maximum effect. But am afraid you (the united fans) were part of the collateral damage in terms of your enjoyment.

At the end of the day , we got national coverage and you got 3 points - everyone's a winner!

Don't try and weasle your fans out of it - the majority of your fans were singing it before anyone went near the pitch.

I really hope one day you go through what we have to - and I'll be one of the first to laugh at you.

Oh - and most of your fans are nailed on virgins

So hòw would you suggest we protest then. What bright idea do you have that we haven't already tried over the last 5 years.

They got caught on live TV blowing a whistle? Fcuk, the FA is gonna throw the book at them...
Yes it was annoying, that's the whole point. Make the occasion standout from the ordinary. Drastic times are calling for drastic measures. I long for the day when I can just take my lads to watch Coventry City FC and we're looking forward to a game of football.

Hi David! Can you plant me a rose*!!! LOL! Only joking, m8! Just a bit of 'banter'!

*Your surname's Gardner which when said sounds a lot like gardener and a gardener might plant me a rose, but not in a g@y way. Not that there's anything wrong with being g@y or planting roses. In fact, someone who's not g@y could quite happily plant a rose in this day and age and most folk wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Fuck off you uneducated fucking chimp!! Up the owls!!! They're a decent football team!! You lot deserve nothing more than what's coming your way!! Karma is funny like that!! After fuck knows how many seasons of pumping money into your shit hole of a club and year on year failing to win promotion they'll eventually get bored and fuck off to a decent team time Bradford! Leaving u clowns in shit loads of debt!! Crying to other teams fans for support as the FA and football league don't give to shit and your hours away from liquidation! Leaving Sheffield as it should be!! "A ONE TEAM CITY"!!!

Appreciate your attempts but there is absolutely no excuses for your fans last night.

Remember when you felt unfairly treated by the means of your relegation? Remember the anger you felt at the powers that be that allowed that to happen. We have that anger against the league AND our owners.

The fact you couldn't appreciate that is an embarrassment to your fan base. Any element of sympathy you may have generated has been tarnished throughout the game.

I've never met a real life football club before. Either I'm honoured or you're stupid

Sorry David, your fans were mindless and abhorrent last night. We are on our last legs and you feel the need to mock us and chant at us.

Sorry mate you really need to look closer to home before you come on here lecturing us.

I never wish your football club the dangers we have regardless.

if we want to start talking about moronic fans what were those whistle blowers doing all game...?
Oh, did the nasty feverish exhale of breath causing the pea to rattle upset those overly sensitive yorkshire lugholes?
You sir, are somewhat a contradiction with your patronising 'sympathy and understanding towards our current plight'.
Please let us know when you feel it acceptable for us to engage in protest on home turf in the future.
