5 CCFC staff members turned up, 3 players, 1 coach and Sam Ricketts.

Now, fair play to those who did turn up, but 3 of the playing squad? Or are the rest going to other hospitals?

Was this today or the one from last week?

Sordell has been doing visits too I think.

Today, I believe. The CCFC facebook page just uploaded pictures of Rose, Willis, Burge at university hospital along with Oggy and Ricketts.

Sordell going around on his own? Fair play to him.

Surely must be the whole squad though? or are the rest too busy buying ripped jeans?

Well, you know as much as I do. Why not start a thread on here slagging them and the club off anyway? Happy Christmas.

How's it slagging the club off? 3 of the playing squad turned up, with Sordell going on his own around Cov.

And the rest were buying ripped jeans apparently. Just making stuff up.

Well where were they?

How do you know? And what difference does it make anyway? CCFC did a hospital visit and you start a thread trying to diss it. A bit sad.

Yeah, as you made up crap about them going shopping rather than seeing kids in hospital, so what was that trying to achieve? Not well doe CCFC, but where were the rest? I don't think there was any need. They'll all be there at the JSB party on Thursday, why not come along and see for yourself. If anyone is missing I'll start a thread accusing them of something.

So ccfc players go to local hospital and take pressies to the kids and yet that's not good enough, as there should be more of them ?

I for one say well done for visiting the kids.

Exactly. You put it better than me. I ramble too much.

I think you're both missing the point :joyful:

I said fair play to the 3 players that turned up, but surely it should be the whole playing squad? As you know, they're meant to be a team?

well done to the ones that do see fit to visit hospitals and promote ccfc but to be honest I am not surprised the players are deflated and probably cant be bothered right now. They may feel very different if their bosses/owners led by example?
I have met Willis a few times (local schools and via business, etc) and he is a pretty decent young man, Cov kid and proud of it. However he has probably had enough now and I would not blame him for wanting out too.

I really think you are. You have no counter argument, other than to try and make out I'm "dissing" players visiting kids in hospitals.

You can re-read post #1 several times, if you still don't get it :)

To be fair, Willis did go.

Just say, well done for visiting the hospital, not accuse the others of shopping to get out of it. Do a search and see how many full squads visit. Nice try though. Sure something else will pop up for you. As I said I'll let you know who is missing at the JSB Party. Probably more interested in buying a new Range Rover or somethign rather than see the kids at Christmas. I don't know, bloody CCFC, eh?

Ah, is that the accepted benchmark?

1 would be for me. Any player taking their time out to visit my child if they were in hospital would be very welcome. Would I be disappointed if 3 turned up, absolutely not.

Oggy on the other hand ;)

Can't really see the issue with it to be honest, other players have been going into schools and they will all be there on Thursday.

Did you just click the first link you found with out reading the page? ;)

Probably. But matters not. You're still having a go at the club for no reason.

The players were divided into different groups. Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu was the destination for Andrés Iniesta, Ter Stegen, Arda Turan, Vermaelen, Luis Suárez, Juan Carlos Unzué plus directors Silvio Elías, Pau Vilanova and Emili Rousaud.

The members of the squad that went to Hospital Vall d’Hebron were Neymar Jr, Alves, Douglas, Bartra and José Ramon de la Fuente, joined by directors Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca and Jordi Moix. In turn, Piqué, Sergio and Joan Barbarà along with vice-president Manel Arroyo paid a visit to Hospital de Sant Pau and Bravo, Mathieu and Francesc Cos were accompanied by Jordi Calsamiglia and Enrique Tombas to Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol.

Hospital de Barcelona was honoured by the presence of Messi, Mascherano and Pepe Costa, plus vice-president Jordi Mestre, while the visitors to Hospital de Nens de Barcelona were Sergi Roberto, Masip, Luis Enrique, Joaquín Valdés and director Joan Bladé. And there’s more. First vice-president Jordi Cardoner took Adriano, Munir and physio Rafel Pol to Cottolengo del Padre Alegre and the Casa Ronald McDonald welcomed Rakitic, Jordi Alba, Edu Pons and director Xavier Vilajoana.

Finally, the Saló de la Infància was the destination of Sandro and Aleix Vidal, joined by the vice-president of the Foundation, Maria Teixidor. The two players joined in with a special FutbolNet match at a stand where children have meeting for such activities throughout the Christmas holidays. The children have not only been able to play football games, but also to take part in graffiti workshops and have their picture taken with the treble trophies.
