Well yeah, but was thinking more in terms of Sherlock Holmes in general. Think Sherlock calls for a bit more suspension of disbelief than other incarnations of the character.
I also meant that perhaps this was a bit more than some other episodes.

I did find the whole Mary/spy thing a bit too far out there personally. Happy to go with the flow of Moriarty and stuff, but I never quite bought into the Mary/deadly spy/assassin/Watson wife concept.

I doubt if it will work for you Nick as I think you need to have seen all the previous episodes to even half understand it?

I thought Dr Who and Jonathan Creek were far better.

Doctor Who was much better this year. The Christmas ones are usually a bit naff, but this one was very good I thought.
