Simon Jordan looked at CCFC Ownership (1 Viewer)

Not sure if it is a parody account but it is verified so not 100% sure how hard that is to fake?

Despite Gilbert trying to lead him in a direction with leading questions he said the it's a lost club with big potential, have to look at previous owners, the stadium deal was such a shit one, and then looked at ownership 3 yrs ago , but it was a very top down look and he was / am too emotionally invested with Palace.

If it's verified it's almost certainly him, any spoof or parody accounts have to be make it very clear in the profile bio or they get suspended. My Onye Igwe one was nailed within a few days back in whatever year it was.

A serial football club owner tried not so long ago. Good record at turning crisis clubs around and was genuine. They've dealt with some seriously crazy people in their time in and out of football but even they couldn't deal with our owner.

Who was that? How much did they offer? Any more info?

Who was that then?

That says to me that he is looking at ccfc but the hedge fund owners (sisu/otium/arvo) have said that they have invested/lost £70 million and he seems to then be saying for them to concentrate on the team as the valuation from that figure is not in his (or maybe anyone's) interests....just a guess from me but that's what he seems to be saying

I read it to mean that the owners have neglected the team and its about time that changed. I didn't read it as a negative comment at all.

I agree with that also st john, it could be construed as anything though and without seeing what he is reacting to it's anyone's guess. Thinking outside of the box though I am wondering why he would say that in relation to ccfc when he would previously have had or needed to have no interest in us. If anyone can enlighten us as to what his tweet was reacting to it would be much appreciated. If he is just adding his thoughts to our publicised troubles or just generalising on a football club's troubles it would help to make more sense of his comments....

After reading a few times without any knowledge of what he has said previously or has been said to him, he may just be giving his opinion as an ex owner of a football club and trying to offer subtle advice regarding money invested/lost as oppose to owners should be concentrating on the playing side of things (as he experienced at palace)

Simon Jordan was on the Keys and Gray show on Bein sports the other week. Maybe Keys asked Simon to take a look?

Because we are desperate for SISU to leave we see SJs tweet and we automatically read it the way we want - he wants the club. I read it like that but then read it again, I think he's just giving his opinion.

Always liked the job Jordan did with Palace but... and it's a big but.

They went into administration, and nearly crashed completely owing to Jordan's disupute with the stadium owners, and resultant cash crisis.

His motivation with Palace was also that he was a fan.

We need our Jordan equivalent (without the end result!) rather than him.

Reading through the conversation with Gilbert he stated he was / am too emotionally invested in palace. But of a turnaround in 24 hours, but you never know... However my recollections of his time at Palace are not completely dissimilar to us (off the field matters)

I read his tweets the same as Sky Blue 1987 does in that he's looking at the situation from the POV of someone with experience rather than looking to actually get involved

Simon Jordan is only commenting on the sorry state of the club. Our fans clutch at any potential life raft however improbable.
