separate but under the same control. The point is this time CCFC will be directly involved
Thanks for that OSB. If my memory is right (its normally not) didnt fisher go to great lengths saying how the legal side has nothing to do with CCFC, and therefore confusing SISU and CCFC was wrong ??

We tend to lose about 30% with a relegation, I suspect that could rise, but on current figures that could easily be 5.5-6k next season. Will depend on how we are doing. If we are up the top of the league (lol) then expect decent gates, down the bottom and we would fit in a taxi.
Yep, kind of my point.

5,000 is plenty if we are doing really badly. Doing really well though and top of the league you would easily double that.

any chance of a quick synopsis of what this one's all about for those of us who haven't a clue?

I hereby solemnly vow to not get involved in any further threads about fucking J fucking R fucking 2......

can't believe how many hours of my life I wasted reading some of the most mind numbingly boring financial & legal bullshit last time around....

My default position remains this:

Sisu, ACL, CCC, CT & Wasps are all cunts and because of them, CCFC are fucked for the foreseeable future, possibly ever.

.....Carry on.

For me, those terms of Wasps purchase of the Ricoh were not offered to the club, and it needs to be answerable to law.
Hate this constant shit, but the club has a case for me.
I just wish they would pass on the club but continue JR2 once they have gone. Sell the club and keep all all the money from JR2 ,we just don't care.
All we care is for the club to have new owners
Surely you mean that the club did not offer the same as Wasps.
There is no doubt in my minds that if Sisu had played fair they would have got a similar deal.
However, I do appreciate how hedge funds work though and if it had paid off it would have benefited the club.
But you need to weigh up fairness to all parties and I think Sisu got the balance wrong.

Maybe, just to be controversial the council and higgs didn't offer them the same as they thought this would better protect the club in the long run. Most thought at the time that Sisu were using us as a vehicle for a land grab, ergo we would still be in the same position we are now.

I think at the start they stuck to there guns not realising that CCFC would actually struggle.
I believe that the attempt to take control via picking up the loan cheaply (never really possible ref JR outcome) set the seeds of the differences between the parties.
CCC/Higgs had there arse in there hands and were possibly very receptive when Wasps came along with a plan.

I am not sure whether they were offered the same terms, but I do remember Tim Fisher stating that they would not take on the £15 million loan that ACL had taken out as part of the deal, but WASPS did.

They thought they could obtain it for as little as £2M and no more than £5M.

Take what on?
The £15M loan that ACL had with the bank and Fisher said he would not take on.
The loan that Sisu thought they could get for as little as £2M and no more than £5M.
The loan that was required at that figure as an enabler for the initial £5.5M Higgs offer.

At the conclusion of JR2, just after the loss is announced, we will be plying our trade
Outside Coventry (god knows where) in the conference or lower, in front of pitifully low
Crowds.
That will be the perfect time to finally put this ravaged carcass of a club out of its misery.
And I bet the cunts can't wait either.

Personally I don't think this affects CCFC as a football club in any respect whatsoever. They aren't investing in the club and if they win the JR2 they still won't.
I presume they can still pursue the JR2 even if they don't own the club.
So it is carry on as you are.

Except no one will talk to CCFC while the legal battles are going on. So in that respect no deal being discussed at the Ricoh.
