Why don't you give it a try? You never know.....More fans stood up and abused and sarcastically applauded the score board than there were tennis balls. Have you ever seen anything like that?
So if it isn't big headline news, what's the point? What is it actually going to achieve? What is the thinking behind it?
I don't have the magic formula to make them go tomorrow, do I need to have that to be able to question people throwing tennis balls on the pitch?
I know for a fact if I go and have a shit on the Ryton car park it won't make SISU go, it doesn't make me immune to people asking me what the point of that was.
Yes, and that just shows the mentality if you were. Why don't you give it a try? You never know.....
I, for one would be there egging you on, as I'm sure many other posters on here would.
...oh my God are you still banging on about the terrible events of yesterday?Yes, and that just shows the mentality if you were.
So you post on the same thread? Point well proven there!...oh my God are you still banging on about the terrible events of yesterday?
You spend your whole time on here spitting and snarling at anyone who challenges you.
For a season ticket holder you seem to offer very little comments on actual games.
Hang around in the sewer with Council Jack and Covman if you like. Hope you enjoy the company.
You said earlier you can't read peoples minds, so how do you know, obviously you were close to all sides of the stadium, you are becoming embarrassingly patheticMore fans stood up and abused and sarcastically applauded the score board than there were tennis balls. How do you know what they were clapping were they all clapping the tennis ball throwers or were they clapping a cluster fuck in the box, or were they just clapping to back the lads. Why would I need to read people's minds to see them stand up and do something?
Well I was stood up applauding the ball throwers along with others with me yet you obviously decided the opposite again. Why would I need to read people's minds to see them stand up and do something?
Yes, it happened after the goal and was quite clear how it was meant.Well I was stood up applauding the ball throwers along with others with me yet you obviously decided the opposite again.
on , So did you spot those who's applauded in agreement or just those who were doing different
Erm, because they stood up and did it towards the scoreboard? Along with some choice words. How do you know what they were clapping were they all clapping the tennis ball throwers or were they clapping a cluster fuck in the box, or were they just clapping to back the lads.
TBH most people past block 17 are asleep most of the game don't get a murmur from them at all they, bang on about is supporting the team but do little for the atmosphere.
TBH was swearing and fustrated at letting in the goal never noticed.Erm, because they stood up and did it towards the scoreboard? Along with some choice words.
Is it one of those "it didn't happen" things?

A bit like you it's not happening this club being ground down to near death at this very moment in timeErm, because they stood up and did it towards the scoreboard? Along with some choice words.
Is it one of those "it didn't happen" things like there was no whistle?
It happened sadly.TBH was swearing and fustrated at letting in the goal never noticed.
But it would be out of character for anyone in blocks 19 and 20 to stand up unless they were leaving early.
So you are saying it didn't happen? Must be like the whistle that didn't happen tooYet you know, that everyone was doing the same, mind reading were you, sorry to break the news to you but they were not and I sit opposite in the corporate area about 50/50 for and against. Didn't see any my side doing it as you portray on our side
You obviously can't read I said 'Yet you know, that everyone was doing the same, mind reading were you ,about 50/50 for and against'So you are saying it didn't happen? Must be like the whistle that didn't happen too

Not to hard to understand 50 /50 for and against is it?
As people talk to each other in there seats and with others at half time etc , not unusual for most and concensus 50/50So how do you know who was doing what?
I didn't say everybody was against it, I said a fair few people stood up and shouted abuse or sarcastically clapped that way.again

Sorry if you go all alone which wouldn't surprise me, but then you seem to 'know' everyone was against it
......after over 2 days of this, Nick, you really need to let it go. It isn't going anywhere. There is no groundswell of opinion against protests and chances are tennis balls or not ,Millwall would still have scored from the corner.I didn't say everybody was against it, I said a fair few people stood up and shouted abuse or sarcastically clapped that way.
Multiple other people have also mentioned that it happened, your half time poll must have missed them out.
You have posted 10 hours after the last post in this thread, of courseNick, you really need to let it go.
So you bump it?......after over 2 days of this, Nick, you really need to let it go. It isn't going anywhere. There is no groundswell of opinion against protests and chances are tennis balls or not ,Millwall would still have scored from the corner.
From other fans yesWhat reaction? Those against the tennis balls ?
Well as I said before, there were a few dozen who reacted adversely to the ball throwing, absolutely no question. I think now is the time to think about the timing of throwing things on to the pitch/ stopping the game. It cannot be a coincidence that on 3 occasions now we have conceded after stoppages by the supporters. Whether or not those goals would have been conceded anyway is always a point to consider - our defence is absolutely shocking and that first Millwall goal cannot simply be put down to the supporters' actions. The players are almost to a man without mental fortitude and confidence is almost non existence . Knowing that, and assuming interruptions is adversely effecting the team, the supporters have to make an individual choice as whether the result of the match in hand is as important as the bigger picture (the owners). From other fans yes

I'm not against what's been happening, in fact I admire what fans are prepared to do. I might suggest that those who are intent at disrupting the game do so immediately we concede a goal - literally as we're picking the ball out of our sorry net (as happens weekly). The game is already dead, play begins in the middle of the pitch and no one can blame fans for the goal.(though they will )
That's the point I've been trying to get across, but it's just made out I'm seeing things or people were clapping the players sarcastically. There were quite a few in blocks 19 & 20 stood up after the goal, one group near me were clapping towards the fans in the corner shouting "well f***ing done" and it was most definitely ironic.
If some didn't see that, so be it, but it happened.
Point is, the more that people disrupt the match, the more fans it will lose to the cause. IMHO
