I thought the protest was pathetic and pointless. All it has done is divide fans, which is evidenced by the last 12 pages. That doesn't mean I am a SISU lover, it means I don't believe throwing a few tennis balls on the pitch will make them leave.
In terms of players concentration - have any of you ever played in front of a few thousand hostile fans? Even more so, your own fans? Of course it affects concentration. It wasn't Millwall players having to remove the balls from the pitch. I hate playing this card, but I know for a fact it affected some of them.
As I said in an earlier post, there was possibly one song about the team, the rest was negative chanting. Again, of course that impacts the players from a motivational and confidence perspective. Remember how young and inexperienced our team is. Really pleased the Trust have organised a positive demonstration for tonight.
