It is too early to say Shrewsbury is a must win? (3 Viewers)

The only people who give a damn are the fans. We are being taken for mugs. Whilst we are prepared to pay them these clowns are prepared to take our money and go through the motions.
I don't blame the players for being too young, too greedy or too thick. The club is a disgrace.
Which is no way to run anything.

Wembley will be the end for me ...

It's depressing and quite shocking to say with 12 games left, but it's already too late.

If we had picked up any sort of form, or were playing well, or had the best manager in the world, we may have had a massively outside chance. But we have nothing to hang any hope on.

We are down.

Its an absolute disgrace that with so many games left we are deadwood and so far adrift.... the 'players' need to take a very long hard look at themselves cheating so many people from their hard earned cash... the management teams of idiots we have had looking after this useless bunch masquerading as footballers also need to look hard at themselves letting down so many people, tim fucking wanking cuntface fisher probably stands looking at himself all days in the mirror at his rhino skin and Sisu you bunch of heartless cunts do something right for once in your sleazy world of finance and give this club back to real people because they have more affinity to CCFC than all your dirty filthy ill gotten gains put together

You going to keep on attending for rest of the season Otis, or had enough?
Yeah, I will keep going I guess.

Would feel a lot happier though if we now went with the players who are likely to be here next season.

We are losing every week anyway. I would be inclined to tell the players now to just try and go and play for their futures, give one or two kids ago and on the whole forget about players like Yakubu who clearly won't be here next season.

Give Harries game time instead of Willis if Willis is going (Harris might well be going too, but he can put himself in the shop window if he is to leave).

Willis seems certain to go.

Give Ponticelli some time with the first team squad, even if it is just on the bench with no game time.

Give players like Kyle Spence a go again. Don't play players like Kyel Reid who clearly won't be here.

Basically, plan for next season now.

Do that and I will be really keen to go up.

Stick with the same failed players who have let us down and won't be here, then I believe that makes it so much more hard for me to get my sorry ass up there week in week out.

Been the crappiest or crappy seasons. We now need to see some buds for what is going to be the League Two campaign.

Good post Otis and agree with your sentiments.
Need to make it clear who will be manager next season and let them take the longer view.

Here's one for you. 12 games left, 12 defeats. There's my prediction.

Does anyone know the earliest that relegation could be confirmed? This season has been a disgrace; the owners, Mowbray and Venus have got a lot to answer for.

I did work it out before.

12 games left, 36 points to play for. With the team 5th from bottom now being 14 points clear it is still going to be a little time yet.

I guess if we lost the next 4 games and whoever was 5th from bottom won the next 4 that would do it.

Another 4 games gone would only leave 24 points to play for. If the above scenario occurred that would then be a gap of 26 points and unattainable.

Milton Keynes away on 18th March. That would be the first feasible date we could actually be down.

Sorry, have to add the caveat of course that all the other teams maintain the same gap too.

That's exactly what I've been saying Otis. Get someone in now to start planning for next season. 100% agree with you on this one.

Yep no point in playing loan players... send them back pointless having them here not fighting for the cause not that there will be a cause soon

With the games to come after this Saturday Chesterfield, Oldham, Wimbledon, Swindon, Bury and Shrewsbury were all must win. Given their League positions Northampton and Fleetwood were both "less important". We needed 18 points and managed to accumulate just the 4 from 15 so far.

If anyone thinks that we have any chance of staying up please make yourselves known as I know a nurse that would like to have a chat.
