If they don't pay can Wasps put CCFC into administration. :p

I presume we'll get a few "haha, that's good" posts?

That pitch was already trashed.
This is start of a long process of Wasps change in attitude towards us over the legal action.
We will be gone from the Ricoh if that legal action goes all the way.
IMO.

I honestly don't think wasps give a fuck either way you know! They made out as though they would look after CCFC Needs, community needs, CRFC etc. That was just smoke and mirrors to blag their way in. Now they're in they don't give 2 shits.
I think the legal action is just an excuse to not talk to us. They renewed the contract last time when legal action was taking place, even released a statement (if I remember right) saying it was between CCC and CCFC and not for them to get involved in! What happened then? Why did they get involved?
Would be easier for them if we played elsewhere!

The legal action is an easy front to be able to get people onside. They just need to say SISU and they can get away with whatever.

It will be interesting to hear / see their response to this to see how it is played out.

Problems with not having your own ground. I assume this was agreed when the rental deal was signed, same as the Higgs maintenance.

Of course as it's Sisu and not ex chairman the fault will be with the people who set the terms not those who signed them.

In reality the fault is with the people who thought breaking our rental deal was a smart move. Once you've done that you can't really bitch about the terms you have to accept, you've made your bed.

Oh fuck off. It's the actions of a landlord that doesn't really want CCFC there, regardless of court action. It's also the action of a landlord that despite all the PR shite, isn't really that rich.

Exactly, people still protesting against SISU as it's apparently their fault we won't be playing at the Ricoh after next season.
Same people ignoring w***s and the fact that they're basically threatening to kick us out of 'OUR' stadium because of legal action against somebody else!
And they just get away Scott free (as per) because they're not SISU so can carry on doing what they want?!?!
Still waiting for proof from CJ that SBT had a meeting with w***s over not moving into the ricoh. Still, outing owners before finding replacements and somewhere to play IS the most important thing

No it isn't, it's blatant opportunism from Wasps, lapped up by the likes of yourself. There is no suggestion that CCFC are contractually obliged to pay for repairs to the pitch.

Will see what they say in reply, in the article it says:
We can confirm that Mr Gibb’s demand that Coventry City meet half the costs of thousands of Euros per month for pitch repairs was NOT made on the basis of Sky Blues’ matches, but solely on the basis of his claim that an already worn pitch had been “completely wrecked” by the friendly pitch invasion.

So can see how Wasps respond to it.

They give a shit about money thats all they give a shit about.
The legal action threatens their money.
If we are there as tenants giving them more money than we cost them or threaten to cost them.
They would want us there it's simple business.

Why does the legal action with CCC threaten "their money"?

Well, I think that's easy nick surely! IF......... big IF, SISU are actually successful in the court cases that CCC illegally sold the ricoh to the outsiders, not only would CCC be in for a whipping, but where does that leave the owners of the stadium? Still owners? Surely not as it was ill gotten gains! (IF they're successful)!

This is an absolute joke. The pitch was 99% fucked before any fan set foot on there.

Still, forgetting that it's us being charged for a moment, it looks like we've found a weakness out for Wasps.
