Hi all
Just wondered if anyone had any unwanted train tickets for Wembley? Seem to be very few trains available now.

Other option might be Chiltern from Warwick Parkway or Birmingham Moor Street if you can get there. They've said they are making arrangements to handle the increased capacity...

Hmm, that'll be a fun homeward journey, running through Oxford Parkway, whatever the result!

Yes, fair point. I don't think the Chiltern trains back to Warwick/Brum all go through Oxford in truth, but there's going to be fans mingling at Wembley Stadium station and for at least part of the journey, I'd think.

You've got to imagine that there will be a police presence though; surely they've had to manage this in the past?

I have one spare from Moor Street to Wembley Stadium (changing at Beaconsfield) the return train leaves Wembley Stadium at 17:22 so could be a bit close for comfort, will sell return ticket for £10. PM me if interested, otherwise Otis is the man

If people are struggling with train tickets, another option might be to drive to Luton parkway, from where you can take the train to West Hampstead Thameslink, then the Jubilee line 5 stops to Wembley. A daysaver travelcard for the whole return journey including the underground works out to be around £16. If several people are in the car then you are looking at only a few quid petrol and parking money each. Probably do the whole lot for less than £20

For anyone still struggling, can get a reasonably priced fare from Warwick Parkway to Marylebone, think mine was 35 return with unlimited Tube travel included

I've been let down by a friend and now have a return ticket from new street to euston for sale, original ticket value, just happy to not lose out and help out anyone else if i can.

Leaves new street at 9:14 and arrives at euston at 12:01(long train )

Return departs from euston at 20:38 and arrives at new street at 22:09.

Ticket prices for both together are £33, let me know if anyone's interested.

You say 'long train,' do you know how many carriages exactly?

I assume this is an attempt to make fun as i probably should have just said that the journey time is long. But just to clarify, I'm not referring to the length of the train :)

As other thread - beware of taking this at face value. Which staff did she speak to, and from which operator. Chiltern are clearly aware of demand and are laying on extra trains - Virgin and London Midland could do with commentating though.
