...following Robins comments regarding the players being unfit which player will piss off and not bother with some extra fitness work?
This. Surely the players need to trust in the coaches to give them an adequate scheduleThey probably all will as I expect the manager to have tailored his sessions to meet the needs of the squad. Therefore, over training may actually hinder the player.

You are mostly talking about the kids this club is so dependant on, because owners won't employee more 'expensive' players. So as they are very young professionals they will get tired, fatigued early than hardened pros. So many games in this league and added games in the Mickey Mouse Cup all takes its toll. They're frickin knackered out and losing games so mentally knackered also. I blame Sisu. With a couple of weeks of the season left to play, how on earth can they be "unfit"? Clearly massively unqualified to play football even at this level yes, but unfit?

i imagine pre season didnt go smoothly. alot of players didnt come in from window till late and maybe mowbray was focussing more on that than on the training pitch?
then he was followed by 2 people who can only loosley be classed as managers. so fitness has plumetted and players probably think the training sessions are shite.
all above are assumptions
I'm not going into specific, as I only offer my view as an opinion. But generally the kids are having to play too many games. As a sports scientist. I'm not.Really?
Which kids do you mean that are burnt out?
Slades overall record as a manager is not bad - it stands scrutiny against Mowbray in terms of wins and points averages. It didn't work here but put downs based on no statistical evidence is very childish
Which ones? Why not be specific?I'm not going into specific, as I only offer my view as an opinion. But generally the kids are having to play too many games. As a sports scientist. I'm not.
Start with both goalies Burge and Cook. Stevenson, Willis. Haynes. Thomas. All tiring. What do you think? Don't believe players get fatigued from too many games?
Maybe Nick you should ask Robins what he thinks. Straight from the horses mouth. More reliable than me.
No worries I have plenty more obsessions to give you yet.Willis is hardly a "kid" is he?
Haynes has 21 appearances and G Thomas 27.
If you think they are burning out they need to get a new career and you need to get a new obsession.

Why? Nonsense to some. Reality to others. Can I ask you do you think Mr Fisher has had a successful season this year and should sail into next year with his head held high?If you can pick one that's factual and maybe at least makes a bit of sense for the next one

No reply to that one also. Let's start a new thread and ask if all guys on here feel Fisher is doing well for Sisu. Sorry rephrase that. Doing well for the club. What do you reckon percentage wise? I'd guess 75% pants. Have a guess, go on.
What's that got to do with fitness levels of players?
You do realise if you say something on one topic, then it gets pointed out as nonsense, it isn't a reply to then just pick something else to go on about that's not related. You may as well just say "yes, but today is Monday isn't it".
How have the players burnt out due to the cup run like you keep saying, and not because they are just unfit / training etc?
If you speak with Robins (which I have) he will tell you that the young players are jaded and have played to much football in the last 18 months. Also, they have adopted a losing mentality which compounds the problem. The young players (both contracted and loaned) have had to play as recent managers (Slade and Venus) have all had to take the short term view.
Fitness and training is nothing to do with tiredness in teenagers. Their bodies are still growing and need lots of rest.
Thee young players should not have been put in this position. All boils down to the recruitment last summer.
Blame TM or blame SISU for not providing funds but that is the real issue.
