Finding someone online (1 Viewer)

Just wondered if anyone knew a good website (ideally free) to find someone's telephone number?

It's a long lost relative, who lives in Scotland. She doesn't have Facebook etc.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Can you think of anyone they may know that would have social media that you could get in touch with? they may be able to help you contact them/have a phone number?

Type their name in Google search. It will throw in names, electoral lists etc. Takes a little time to research.

Google is the best starting point. It's amazing the amount of information that people put online about themselves.

I've found an old address on 192.com

But that doesn't help me contact her now :/
It could be worthwhile sending a polite letter to the current occupants asking if they have a forwarding address?

A phone directory?

Don't I need a street/city for that?

I literally have a name to go on.
Phone directories are ordered by name.
Sometimes they include a middle initial.
It depends on how unusual the name is

They could be unlisted or not even have a phone.
Do you know the town/city where they live?

If they have an unusual name it would be a lot easier. I think your best chance is to do an internet search.
Of course, if they have no internet presence, it would be almost impossible.
If you can't find the person directly, try finding a relative or someone they might know.
