Would you keep him next season or let him go in the summer? Seemed like his legs had gone on Sunday no pace

He got injured before Wycombe game and in semi he looked done before half time. Old boys take longer to heal. Could be old injury. Even more reason to send him to knackers yard with Tudgay

Give him the summer to get fit but agree with Tudgay

Yes, it's a keep from me.
He's not 100% fully fit so we're told but his work rate and ethic was very good Sunday on a big Wembley pitch. You won't have big pitches like that in league two, it will be smaller compact grounds.
He may not get more than 10 in a season himself but he can create opportunities for the rest of the team so he brings goals still.
Sure it would be nice if he got 10-15 goals himself.
A lot will depend on MR preferred formation too as to how many and what type of strikers he will want on his books.
We have potentially 3 already in Beavon, Kwame and George Thomas is he stays.

If we can afford him and he would choose to say, I would question any City fan that wouldn't want to keep him. He may not be the quickest or look the most prolific. But he keeps defenders occupied and makes space for others, quality player at this level and in L2.

I like him, but on my Football Manager game he retired at the end of this season out of the blue, so I say dump him before he dumps us!

*Not really, think he's quality and would shine in L2 if we can afford to keep him.

I like him and I get that he works hard and makes chances for others.

But I am not a big fan of strikers who rarely score, so it's a no from me.
Successful teams need goalscorers. We have no midfielders or wingers that score more than the odd one either.
Get 2 hungry goalscorers and tata, thanks very much to Beavon and Tudgay.

He signed an 18 month contract didn't he? Given we were bottom of thr league when he signed I'm sure they'd have put a relegation clause in to reduce his wages. I like him, so I would keep, but he needs to add some goals.

Is this a serious thread?

He is the sort of player we will need next season. Hard working. Always puts effort in. Always a threat. A bit older next season but at a lower level. Most defences won't be able to cope with him. We need more players like him not less. What we don't need for next season is lightweight players that will constantly get bullied off the ball.

Wembley has the biggest pitch allowed. You frequently see players suffer towards the end of games. We will be going to grounds that will be close to the smallest allowed at times. Less space. Perfect for someone like Beavon.

Beavon is a good player but he needs a quick goal scorer playing alongside him to maximize his full potential. We've lacked a goal scorer all season.
Either quick or a big lump of a striker that won't get knocked off the ball all the time. And a couple of quick players that will run into the box and get us lots of penalties.

He has been injured on and off since he signed, we can't afford to carry these types so I would look to replace him, I assume he's out of contract in the summer.

No injury has kept him out of the side. It shows his commitment that he still plays and isn't just with us for the payday.

Id like to see him and Kwame as a front two next season. Beavons not got a lot of pace but he seems an intelligent footballer to me. Could be a good partnership.

the only negative to his game on sunday was when lameries played him in but he ddint have attributed to run towards goal or at his defender. but thats not his game.

partner him with a fast player and its a recipe for goals.
