Tassimo are pretty good!
I have a Dolche thingy! Thought mine was great until the in laws got the tassimo. The machine itself was cheaper, as are the coffee pods. There is MUCH MORE variety of pods with the tassimo too. Costa, Cadbury, twinings!

I have a delonghi espresso machine. Couldn't tell you the model number but it does pods as well as scoops.

I've got a dolche pod machine, absolute shite. As patsy says the other brands are better, Aldi even make pods now. While a proper espresso > pod, the pod is very good for convenience.

You can Defo pick those types of machines for fuck all. Currys sell em for 30 quid because they make more in the pods.

Best off getting one of the Italian silver things you put on your hob mate, so much nicer and buy the coffee in how much you want , I'm on some Jamaican one which s lovely but is ten times more expensive than others

Got a Kitchenaid coffee machine about 6 years ago after a visit to Oz. Mate out there advised that if buying a machine you needed to check that it was rated at 3 bars (whatever this means).
The Kitchenaid was expensive but worth every penny. Superb coffee every time. Get my coffe online from a company called Has Bean. They provide coffee's from all around the world and the prices are pretty good too.
Have a look 'Which' and see what machines they are recommending.

Monkeys not cats I think. Blue summat.

On the pods thing, I will say that we've got both Nespresso and Tassimo and while the Tassimo works better if you have a particular sized cup, the Nespresso is more flexible, but I always have to put two pods in to get a full strength cup.

You have to with a lot off them mate, 2 pods always

Like I said check out 'Which' magazine and see what they are saying.

In Vietnam they sell weasel shit coffee, sure it's weasels or similar maybe otters.

I recommend one of those on hob espresso makers. £20, great coffee, not tied to expensive packs (use any coffee you want) and no electronics to go wrong.

We have an aging coffee perculator. Makes lovely coffee, stays hot without "stewing" the coffee too much too. It looks just like a kettle.

Yeah we just use normal ground coffee in our perculator.
