Well, he's not happy. I've learned more about him in 10 minutes on the radio than I have in 9 years about Joy, so I thank him for that.

Gave details of the renewed offer put in today. It was then leaked (apparently) and rejected out of hand. He's offering certain amounts up front plus more money per subsequent promotion, including 7 million if we get into the Premier League. He's not happy details are leaked. He needs time to consider what to do next. You could hear his frustration in his voice. Prepared to throw his own money away to wrest the club out of SISUs control.

1.2M up front + 50% of all transfer fees over the next 3 years + money for each promotion (1M + 2M = 7M ??)
+ offer of money for Ryton (think 2M was mentioned)
Not sure all the amounts are accurately remembered

Would work out at 10 million for sisu .

If this deal goes south I wouldn't like to cop the flack Les Reid's going to face.

Being used by Tim. The articles come across as he is certainly in the SISU camp? I'd imagine the editor will having a chat with him soon...

£7M was how much SISU would get if we got to the Prem

Basically £10M + in total then whatever we get for players in the next 3 years.

Perhaps if he put that PL carrot up a bit he might get a lot closer to a deal.

I 'kind of' knew Hoffman at school (he is a few years older than me). Never doubt that he cares about the club. He had a season ticket for the West End in the mid-70s.

Les Reid is firmly in Fishers/Sisu's camp.

I like how SISU want a plan, proof of funds and transparency over who the investors are.... pots and kettles.

What I'd like asking (of Fisher perhaps) is what would it take for SISU to sell up and go? This is what hoffman is testing I think?

and I still think it's all rather convenient that since fisher came in and stopped paying the rent and got into disputes with acl council wasps etc that we've been relegated twice....

It's as if they wanted it to happen?

Yes it seems he is being deliberately provocative in order to gain attention, clicks - it helps him that him and Fisher are obviously close and TF is feeding him this stuff. Also he has very strong prejudice against the Cov Tel, CCC and Wasps for reasons that aren't clear but are related to his departure from the Cov Tel.

Unlikely, it gets clicks, he'll be praised by the editor.

Reid is just as bad as Gilbert IMO. The pro-SISU, anti Wasps CCC is just as bad as CT's pro Wasps stance.

At least we are at the figures part now offers on the table although rejected, for now. Has Sepalla said the clubs not for sale, don't think she has. Was never going to be a gimme she knows how much everyone wants rid of sisu that in itself is a value well to her it will be. She seems to want to know who these investors are maybe Hoffman needs others to come in and up the upfront anti, all I know is this seems to be at a critical point and if Sepalla is rigid and digs her heals in a lot of fans still contemplating buying STs might think again. Robins might too.

Les's career will stall/ stop very soon as he will/ has a reputation that isn't that good in the public world since the tail end of his time at the telegraph. It comes across in his articles what camp he sits. That's not professional journalism in my eyes.
