Hopefully we offer him a pencil to sign the deal, the lead breaks as he inevitably drops the pencil and due to cut backs there is no pencil sharpener in the office. Hopefully another club steal in and get there man, we get £50 compensation... all parties happy with the outcome

It will most definitely be our downfall for next season! For once I was happy when I seen him on the CET released list thinking we had finally decided to opt for a decent, experienced keeper. But no....... same old, same old! Neither keeper is good enough yet! It really is quite that simple! With him as #1 we might aswell forget any ideas of promotion/top 6 finish!

There's obvious progression with him through the season. I'm confident in him.

Reminds me of the time we got money for Gary Borrowdale. You can slate Ranson all you want but that was a master stroke.

He's made some very good saves, and been caught out at times too. Sounds just like oggy...

I don't mind him either. He's not amazing but he's no where near as bad as some like to make out he is. Just needs to be a bit more consistent for me. Still, with Oggy going he'll be England No.1 nailed on by the end of next season.

I do worry that he is prone to struggling with crosses and at this level he'll be dealing even more with balls bumped into the box and 6 foot plus centre forwards clattering into him. We're becoming the lower league Arsenal. Everyone said for years that they needed a new 'keeper if they were going to challenge for the title. They finally brought in Cech and that all worked out fine, didn't it?

He got a bit better towards the end or we were playing better , No way good enough should have got someone else two seasons ago , rcc as back up or ship him out as well

He's diabolical. He's set the bar so low people give him adulation for even catching a ball.

I'd keep both him and RCC. Massive mistake of the past 3 managers not to bring in an experienced keeper that we so obviously needed, but we're now in a position where our two keepers are a year older, a year more experienced and we're playing a league lower. Both have show promise imo.

In fact I'd probably blow the entire budget on a big experienced striker (who can score goals (I know a ridiculous notion!)) to play alongside Thomas. Doubt we could get him but someone like Madine would be perfect compliment.

He'll be fine as a number 1 next year.

I think people are forgetting we're in division f**king four. I'm not sure we can attract the likes of De Gea or Courtois I'm afraid.

Hi Lee ***waving emoji***

To be fair, we weren't exactly playing Champions League last season...

We couldn't even attract Coco the Clown , but if we could, at least we could have a laugh . :emoji_joy:

Personally I think it's time we made a decision on ether Burge or RCC going.
We should keep just one as a 2nd keeper and get in a more experienced keeper as number 1 that we have so obviously been needing for a few seasons now,

What's the point of keeping an inexperienced keeper as reserve?

They'll never become an experienced keeper, if that's the case...

Ogrizovic spent many years as a number two at Liverpool.

If you're an experienced goalkeeper , why would you come and play for a 4th Div side !!!
Especially for a club that DOESN'T pay decent wages for quality player's . :wacky:
