Said was told yesterday and his lad isn't happy about it at all. My guess is they're planning on loaning him out.

I don't think a loan out would be a massive issue and would help him, we have 2 LBs in front of him at the minute.

He must be a bit serious about the trialists though to be taking them and not players like Camwell and RCC though. Again he has 2 goalies going.

Could be. Be doing well to have knocks though, this early in pre-season without having played a game.

More likely there is limited space/budget for this trip so some have had to miss out.

24 man squad to Spain seems reasonable, slightly irked about Cian Harries not being included, a kid with un-doubted potential, but again it appears another manager is not wanting to take a punt on the lad.

The remaining players I can sort of understand being excluded from the squad, it would suggest Robins knows his squad and also the players he doesn't want from the squad he inherited.

The order of the names is very interesting. I would interpret is as Moorhouse, Jones, McNulty and Thomas on the flanks. Devon KE and Vincetti no.10s. Beavon, Biamou and Ponticelli alone up top. If we're going with a 4-3-2-1. Then you have Kelly, Doyle, Lussey and Stevenson CMs
