Just listened to Pet Sounds. I like it and for when it came out is sounds fresh. As for being a classic and one of the best ever albums though I'm not so sure ? Who makes these claims ? I rave about Fire and Water by Free and In Search Of Space by Hawkwind. But I guarantee someone will say both of those albums are overrated !

Have both Fire and Water and In Search of Space ( first Hawkers album i bought) - NO - good albums both - saw Paul Rogers a month or so ago in Oxford doing his Free tribute gig - brilliant voice no change like others as he has got older - for me it was like going back to the early 70s

Tonight little gem is Pink fairies - Never Never land - great fun from the early 70s

Meet Glen Campbell by...............Glen Campbell.

A collection of songs from other artists that he has recorded. Genuinely suprised how good it is.

Is 'Guess I'm Dumb on it? A great Brian Wilson song recorded by Glen. One of my favourite tracks by him.

I don't know the music but that album cover made me dizzy. Brilliant design.

Give the Vertigo Suite a listen, it is a stunning piece of music. It'll be on YouTube.

Another good trip to a charity shop as for 50 pence I got Deacon Blue greatest hits and for a quid The Cardigans album Gran Turismo. Both in mint condition too. For all music fans who never go in charity shops they're missing out as there's bargains in them.
This afternoon I spotted on vinyl Never Mind The Bollocks by Sex Pistols on the Virgin label. If it was on EMI it would be worth a lot of money. The woman in the shop was on the ball though as she came over and said it shouldn't be down as a couple of quid. She checked it out on her phone and it was priced at £250.00 ! I was gutted as I was about to buy it for £2.00 !

I did buy The Clash album on vinyl for a quid though. Its from 1977 just titled The Clash with tracks : White Riot Police & Thieves and London's Burning on it. Some scratches on it but the assistant who seemed to know her music said because of missing out on the Pistols album, this Clash one could be worth a few bob still ?

So for those modern rockers amongst us i offer some raw american rock from a twosome which seems to be a popular combination currently - i am an ageing rocker but love this type of heavy blues - and for those of you who have come across these before - well done - apologies for the YT link but its all digital with these boys

Great cover - really deserves to be displayed - often thought of putting my faves on the wall - cant get that on a CD - the missus and i will often watch a classic like this - get the surround sound on full ( not always through every speaker) and enjoy - of course Tarantino ones are excellent

Love Planet Rock - even got the wife switching it on in the kitchen - shes wants a TV for gods sake but i have resisted saying no signal

Who was that great old Irish Actor who dragged her off to his ship?
Found that film captivating as a 10-12 year old!:)
