New club set up for CCFC fans in Leam and Warwick. Juggy is running it and can be contacted at [email protected]

Inaugral meeting is Friday 21st July at 7.30pm Oak Sports House Club, Upper Holly Walk, Leamington, CV32 4JS and monthly meetings thereafter.

Just seen this on Twitter and if I spot anything or any info received on future events, I'll try to keep them all to this thread.

I can't attend the first one and unlikely in August too, but will do throughout the rest of the season if any of you want to turn up and call me a client or something similar :)

a few opening speeches, then drinks, followed by a game of "how big a Cov fan are you", more drinks, reminiscing over the old days, "never got involved in trouble but do you remember Villa away in 93", a few shots before finishing off with a group elephant dance - can't wait

What actually happens at these meetings?

Managers past and present are encouraged attend to pour there hearts out to juggy, each sharing there there lows like a "AA" meeting.
It helps with moving on.... share with the pain.

TM attended a private session last summer and recommends the sessions and are now branching out to the wider CCFC family.

I'll be attending (although can't make the first one, due to crowd control duties at son's leaver's 'disco')!!
I'll see you there Rob (although I won't name call, as you have a few inches and a few pounds on me, as well as the advantage of youth!
It's in the former LIberal Club building - hadn't realised there had been a name change(my ex-father in law used too be the steward there - boring fact of the day!)
Beer will be involved (especially if my old mate Andy is there) - but seriously, there are a good few City fans around the area, so nice to catch up with a few.

Yep same for me-surprised there hasn't been one in the Stratford area etc before-but Leamington is near enough for me.

Yes Rob (sorry about the delayed response)- I played for all 3 versions of the team- every position, except keeper! Footie team originated from the late 70s from the Queens Head, Cubbington, then to the Holly Bush in Leamington, then round to the Liberal Club. Was always called Liberal Club 'C' to retain the original Cubbington connection. We had a bl**dy good team at times (particularly early days), although that was tempered by the ability of the team to consume ale (no names mentioned,...Andy Smith!)

Perhaps Noel Whelan can be invited to demonstrate a few window kicking techniques too

Bit random to have it the same time as a game?

Thought so, too Nick - especially as Juggy travels to most games - that's partly why I wondered what the turnout was. I will attend the next one, though.

Turnout last night was around 30 which was good for a first meeting.
It was well organised and very "open".
As for the takeover, all they are waiting for is Joy Seppala to say what she wants to go.

The reason the meeting was called for that day/ time was because a page was set up on Facebook and everyone agreed to do the Friday, nobody was going to MK Dons as a pain to get to unless you drive, As for the meeting, Joe Elliot asked that whatever was said, stayed in the room, he shared some very interesting facts , Hopefully no one will reveal what he spoke about and respects his plea for things not to be shared over the internet. As big G said, the ball is in Seppala's hands.

Not much different to the ricoh to get to the game last night, still strange to have a fans meeting the same time as a game.

Still, if it was one of those ones ;)

Yea usual response from a lot on here cry because they are not told everything, but can't be arsed to attend a meeting no matter who organises it.
It is just easier to criticise those that take part then do anything the involves leaving their armchairs.

Well done LWSC, anything that spreads the Sky Blue message has to be positive.
Wishing you every success!

i wish them every success. But if they're told something in confidentiality and can't reveal why bother mentioning it? Hasn't our support had enough false dawns?

They follow success here so it's all the usual suspects around Europe and here in RIyadh it's Al Hilal but rest assured it's a missionary role I am undertaking and a few are wavering and starting to follow our results.
At least they know who the real Sky Blues are!!!!
