I guess now it's time for me to give up
I feel it's time
Got a picture of you beside me
Got your lipstick mark still on your coffee cup
Oh yeah
Got fist of pure emotion
Got a head of shattered dreams
Gotta leave it, gotta leave it all behind now
Whatever I said, whatever I did,
I didn't mean it
I just want you back for good
(Want you back, want you back, want you back for good)
Ohh my fucking good god....you're a take that fan !!!

Is it me or does everything must look a little bit more professional this season?

Better branding in the conferences, the kit release, big cov city badges everywhere.

Compared to those shitty half arse videos with an iPhone in Mowbrays face and a board wobbling all over the place behind. (Not saying anything to do with mowbray btw before ccfc4life gets upset).

It just feels like a real club. I wonder if Robins insists? I'm fucking excited

Sounds like the bit I heard on the radio we're probably paying a fair chunk of Turnbulls salary still.

It makes you wonder how much he is on and why he didn't move permanently :(

Maybe that's why he didn't move on a free transfer as nobody else would pay him as much.

Can see Reid going out on loan as well, just to free up some cash.

We still need to hoodwink someone into taking him though

Yeah you could hear the dismay in Robins voice as he intimated him being out the door wouldn't release much into the kitty.

Bit odd, he's basically said he doesn't want to be here and exercised his release clause. So fair enough. But why should we keep paying him?

Because nobody else would pay him (or not as much as we do) it seems.

I get that but he has a release clause and said he wanted to go so surely at that point his contract should be ended by mutual consent and he's free to go where he wants. Now we've essentially got a player who has refused to pay here who we still have to pay for another two years while he plays for someone else.

Or could we not just have kept him until the end of the window and sold him in on a free. Not sure the urgency on our behalf to do the deal before August started.

Yeah but he said he wanted to go but he had an "option" didn't he. It should have been a black or white here or not option.

I believe the contract stipulated that his wages have reduced by 50% because we were relegated
But he could move if he could find a club
Don't know if this meant a free transfer or the club had to pay a fee to us
Although I don't know amount he was on last year this is possibly what Robins means about not freeing up significant funds

This is probably a result of Turnbull going out on loan. Freeing up wages for other signings. That's why we haven't heard anything in a while up until today.
Might be Thomas has finally got off the Pot and made his mind up?

Today's the day then. Who's it gonna be.

No idea :(

Can just imagine there been a quick flurry.

News: Reid goes out on loan

News: Coventry sign such and such

Readers reaction to reid going out loan - anger

Pearson will be one as we need to add another physical player at the back to cope with the target men of the league and powerful players like Cambridges Uche Ikpeazu.
Hopefully his fitness will improve.

2nd name I'm gonna throw in is Adam Mcgurk who is currently at Cambridge. I'm sure I seen he was transfer listed this week on SSN.
He played at Portsmouth in the 15/16 season and at Burton in the 14/15 season. Can play anywhere in the front three and can fill the left side issue we have.

A direct player who's played at league two for a few years and chips in with goals, was part of burtons success from league two with Stuart Beavon and played with Mark McNulty and Micky Doyle at Portsmouth.
I'll have a stab it's him

Can't be that great if he is transfer listed by Cambridge.

How many times... Ikpeazu is absolutely awful!
