Up north on holiday and have convinced 3 others to join me. This is providing we can pay on gate.

Much appreciated if a fellow sky blue can confirm

You can buy online and pick up on the day too.
I would take that option rather than risk paying on gate. Can't remember who we played last season but loads turned up to pay on gate and couldn't get it. I reckon as the sun is shining and a decent new signing a few more will end up going.

They can't if they have been told to take them off sale?

Yeh just frustration - Originally said 12pm today so with notice could have sorted. I don't get why they couldn't have sold until close of play and then the police would still know numbers expected. I'm assuming they were expecting a large amount to travel tomorrow?

Official Twitter account said this morning they would be on sale till 12pm and on the gate tomorrow, I don't know what's prompted such a U-Turn but I'm guessing it was from some tinpot safety group rather than SISU...

That's a disgraceful decision,no warning so fans could make arrangements.I assume the same apply's to the home support

I wonder if this has anything to do with Hull being at home tomorrow (both share the same police force - Humberside)?

You wouldn't think this would have anything to do with it, but it wouldn't surprise me..

What a load of bollocks!!!! I'm travelling up at 3 pm today straight from work. Meeting family near Bridlington and 4 of us were going to the game. Well that's our Saturday fucked now.

Grimsby fan in peace. It is possible to be because Hull are at home but even so (no offence to anyone) why would you need a police presence for hull v burton or Grimsby v Coventry.. If you're desperate to go, book tickets online in the main stand, it's never full and the family based stand

I had a feeling this would be the reason, piss poor, but Miss May you have upset a lot of Coventry City and Grimsby fans, shame on you! :beaver:

You have the river Humber separating you both, why should it be a concern? Are the police scared for you fans safety from us?
