Let's no jump the gun...it might be OK. If not, maybe time to dip into the loan market.
Argh shite...when does it re-open?The loan window is closed.

Oh.January :emoji_confounded:
That's a good point, I think the Irish league finishes in the Autumn. Hopefully we have the budget left for him. When is Moorhouse available from?
I wonder if clubs like CCFC can buy insurance whereby if a squad player get a long lay-off, the insurance policy pays out so that we have budget to cover a replacement? Anyone know if this is possible? I'd imagine that, especially given our injury record, us paying the insurance policy itself would cut a chunk out of our initial budget and thus make the whole exercise a bit futile. That's a good point, I think the Irish league finishes in the Autumn. I think he'd absolutely recall Kwame but the terms of the loan mean he can't be recalled until 28 days (or if we did recall him, he wouldn't be able to play him anyway). Talk about unlucky timing! If it's long term with Andreu then he may think about a free agent, although I hope he thinks about it a little more carefully than Mowbray or Slade did. Maybe even recall Kwame from Sutton.

Unfortunately yes they can. I remember Keane limping off v Leeds about 20 years ago and he was out for 9 months. Are players able to walk off the pitch if they've done their cruciate?
Hurts like fuck when you first do it but you can get up and walk on it after a minute or 2. Then you can walk to your locker, call the missus, walk down the road, get picked up by her and get the worst bollocking you've ever had because she's only been out of hospital for 2 days and the baby is only 9 days old. In fact, I think my ears hurt more than my knee did.Are players able to walk off the pitch if they've done their cruciate? Hopefully this will be like McDonald where it's not as serious as it first looked.

Can't think of any youngsters though who are goalscorers and out and out strikers.Step up one of the youngsters.
Good job we got CBR backCan't think of any youngsters though who are goalscorers and out and out strikers.
If only we had one.
Walk avoidance too - was a 6 month 'Get out of Pram Pushing Free' cardThen you can't bath the baby, you can't kneel down to change a nappy and you get banned from football?

Pretty worrying.
Jones has improved no doubt, but when you have him as our only real goal threat, that is extremely cutting it fine.
Hope Ponticelli gets a chance tomorrow, and we do also have the option of Kwame who's loan runs out in 3 weeks or so.
