Why? its a payrise, it offers a wage for the next 5 years or a hefty pay off, (potential bonus payments) knowing full well, if he starts scoring he will be sold anyway.

Still a 3-year contract, we still have the bargaining power for 2 seasons, so it's not like anybody is gonna get a cheap deal on him unless we say so.
