Hello everyone. I come in peace. SISU out etc...

As you may of may not know, Saturday is officially non-league day, where fans of Premier League and Championship clubs across the country are encouraged to watch their local non-league team.

Obviously, you guys have a match away at Barnet so obviously you won't be able to make a non-league game right?

Wrong...

I come representing Hadley FC. We play in Arkley, Barnet and we have a home game against Tring Athletic on Saturday. We are offering FREE ENTRY to anybody with a ticket for the Barnet v Coventry match. We've moved the kick off forwards to 3:30 to give all fans a better opportunity to be able to attend the game. Saturday is the official grand opening of our new ground Brickfield Lane so we are hoping for a bumper crowd for the game.

Here's why coming to watch us would be a good idea...

1 - We have a famous manager. Spurs legend Micky Hazard is our manager, he always visits the bar before and after games to have a chat with the fans so if you fancy meeting him he's easily approachable and great to talk to!

2 - We brew our own beer. Brick Beer is available at the bar for all fans to try. Brewed on site and because we are at a low level, you can drink beer while watching the game if you like. If you spot a guy wearing a Liam Hatch Barnet shirt at the game, he's the guy who brews the beer and he'll give you a free one if you tap him on the shoulder and mention how good Liam Hatch was at Barnet. If you don't fancy trying anything new, we also have normal beer at the bar like Fosters, Punk IPA, Doombar and Moretti.

3 - We have the greatest half time entertainment/game in the whole of non league football involving 144 tennis balls. Not to be missed.

4 - We are extremely exciting to watch. Micky likes us to play good football so we favour a short passing game over long balls. We also have been involved in extremely high scoring games this season. Our games so far have produced 5.7 goals per match, 3.7 for Hadley. Results so far this season have included a 9-1 win in the FA Cup and our most recent home game was a 5-5 draw. If this is repeated then that's the equivalent of 0p per goal. Even if the score is an extremely unlikely 0-0 that is the equivalent of 0p per goal. Decent value don't you think?

The all important address... Brickfield Lane, Arkley, Barnet, Herts, EN5 3LD

There is parking at the club but it's not the biggest car park ever so I recommend parking in one of the nearby streets and walking over to the ground. If you're getting public transport then the 107 from Edgware stops right outside the ground.

Hope to see some of you there!

That sounds good.
We could be playing them soon anyway so good to be in the know about where they are.
Hopefully by me saying we will play them soon is them getting multiple promotions not us relegations, just to clear that up before someone jumps on it.

If the tennis ball thingy is anything like Sticky Vicky and the ping pong balls in Benidorm I'm in.

5.7 goals a game? Do you have Beavons identical twin?

It actually does involve that, although we will encourage you not to throw them on during the game, only at half time. We actually like our owner.
Whoever gets their ball closest to the centre spot wins a cash prize.

Not sure who Beavon is but I assume he's either an amazing striker or an awful defender/keeper.

So Charlton wasn't a protest, it was a practice!

Hey everyone. Excited for the big day tomorrow!
Can't wait to see some of you there. It should be a cracking game and I can't wait to see if one of you lot will win the half time tennis ball competition. I hear you've been getting some practice in!

Feel free to decorate the stadium with Coventry flags and banners as you wish. It always looks better with a bit of colour.

See you all tomorrow!

Thank you all for coming. Best attendance of the season for us of 110. Sorry we didn't provide the goalfest I predicted but at least it wasn't 0-0. Feel free to come down any time you have a free Saturday and you're in the area!

Thanks Tom. I enjoyed the day although 3 games in a day left me shattered.
