Can't find the thread, but stewards on the door giving out leaflets for match packages to people without sts.

I'm sure that got posted in a thread.

Fair play, loads seemed to be taking them.

As long as we don't have to play the mighty Forest Green Rovers every week.

They have been reading them for years
They even know who some of us are.
If it is from a post on here it will be the first time they have listened to anyone, shame they don't listen to the majority and just leave.

Good rant, but it's a bit obvious it would have been somebody in marketing who read it won't it?

I suggested that they do it not that long ago about match packages and JSB. Seemed an obvious thing to do to me given the amount of people phoning into CWR complaining about the cost of attending.

It was also me who suggested getting a kiosk inside for a shop at the ground instead of pasting tables.

If only they’d listen to me when I tell them to sell up and fuck off :)

That's the one, seemed to be working. Think what they saw inside nulled it though.

Oh can you take a day off?
There’s no need for the fucking negativity.
No need for the negativity ?! Now that's funny. I should think all City fans are up and bouncing to work this morning off the back of another Coventry city nil result in League 2. Oh and here's a bit more, how long has that cartel of casino, Hilton and stadium concourse been charging £5 for a pint of awful lager in a plastic glass. It's daylight robbery on fans trying to support the complex !

You do realise that's not even the club don't you? Fans trying to support a complex ha

Of course I know it's not the club and yes what's wrong with supporting a few local jobs by spending a few quid ?! Price and quality for visitors is insulting though.

Well nick has already answered your point about the ‘complex’.
There is a difference from saying We played shit. To complaining about the management of the club when they do something right.

Another thing people ought to consider is that every pound spent in and around the Ricoh by the footfall of Coventry City fans ultimately adds strength to our case for negotiating a new deal there.

Because you have been to a couple of games on free tickets and go on about supporting a "complex". Try supporting your team.

Nick Tim told us years ago he read them even asked us if we knew some of the posters on here you and Grendel included?
As for ranting do we not have a reason to do so?

Didn’t Nick and Grendel go to some super secret fan meeting a while ago when Tim asked Nick to bring some representatives?

Or did I just make that up?

This thread is about somebody seeing the marketing ideas and implementing them though?

As for ranting, feel free to go on the match thread and rant about it.

Yep, you did. Must be dizzy with the amount of spin on it.

It wasn't super secret, it wasn't Fisher either.

LAST was there too ;)

The hotel isn’t owned by CCFC, it’s owned by ACL/Wasps. Despite brand guidelines from Hilton, they can charge what they want for beers in the hotel.

Is it really or do Hilton rent the space from ACL ?! As with the casino, surely that's how it actually operates. And yes of course I'm aware that money spent at these doesn't go to CCFC but still would argue that Cov kids are being employed and that overall City fan spending will help CCFC get a better rent deal eventually if SISU don't completely fuck it up for us.

Are you being for real? You have gone on free tickets to watch CCFC and your argument is to support the casino and the Ricoh.

I work for Hilton. In Sports. Trust me! Hilton run the property on a franchise agreement. The hotel is wholly owned by ACL/Wasps.

Again. I’m not talking about results.
I am saying the club have made a positive change, and people are still trying to be negative about it.
But most of is only cate about the results.
If I want a ticket I go out and buy one, don't need them to tell me about it.

Are you really this thick?
I am not talking about the results.
The person I was replying too, was moaning about the Ticket promotion situation, which is what my response was too.

You are the only one out of the 2 of us being negative in this thread?

Negative only about the prices they charge people around the complex for sure, its scandalous. I had a good night though, it doesn't hurt so badly when you're not paying. Whilst all the ST holders were shouting and booing around us on the way out, me and t'other half just shrugged and left. I'll have a chat with my neighbour and see when he's next away !! In the meantime we'll back to the BPA on Saturday where sadly I'll have to part with £15 ! Cheer up, it might never happen old chap !

Again, you are the only one being negative so there's nothing to cheer up about? You are moaning about prices that aren't the club.
