Has anybody else got it? Finding it really tricky so far.

Also, can't see a way to do up the Cars :(

The series lost its way after GT3. Haven't liked it since but still play GT3 and have the steering wheel, I bought it at launch. Defo got the money's worth out of it.

Have played it a bit more but it is nothing like the one on the original playstation.

On that I would have an MX5 for weeks where I had to save to buy an exhaust to make it a bit faster and then I'd get a bigger turbo.

On the new one I did about 5 things for the driving license and they gave me a 911.

Haha, sounds nothing like the originals.

Have you tried project cars? Superb driving simulator.

I haven't tried it online yet, although I might try and drive round the wrong way if they annoy me. (bet you can't though)

If I can't fit exhausts or drive backwards to piss people off, there's no enjoyment.

Might just trade it in for assassins creed.

That's not the same though :( Not that bothered about gear ratios etc.

I want to upgrade the exhausts, turbos and stuff :(

dont know about that but when i upgraded one car it was using driver xp points not cash .......

It was more the customisation of the car / engine / turbo etc to make it better. Used to love doing that.

i think you can still do that and the gearing but i havent got far enough into it yet to look properly im just doing challenges and races to earn cash and get free cars

I will buy it but I must admit I tend to get bored with driving sims after a while. Presentation wise it looks amazing

Have got into a bit better now, done all the driving tests and won a few cars.

Had a couple of races online but they must be serious pros, on a small track they are still a good 7 seconds faster even when I am going pretty much flat out. No chance of winning a race :(

best i managed was second after a big crash which took 5 cars out in front of me !

the online set up is brilliant with qualifying for each race. also apparently if you crash alot you get paired with people who do same so good players can race well

that said i am not into cars and thus bring arcade element to my racing for the most part. i will rent this next year for a while to really give multiplayer a proper go

Ooh, tempting. Is it more aimed at online or is there a decent career mode like the old school ones?

Ah balls. Why don't games cater mostly to the anti-social like the good old days? I might still have a look, £25 is probably worth a gamble.

It's like someone on the developer team read this thread

Gran Turismo Sport is getting its first major update since its release last month, with a sizeable and more traditional single player campaign coming alongside a suite of new cars in December.

GT League is reminiscent of older Gran Turismo games, featuring a series of cup competitions and endurance races - and addressing one of the criticisms of Gran Tursimo Sport, which instead offered an in-depth and extensive tutorial alongside a series of missions.

Oh for fuck's sake, I got it at the £25. I could have saved even more by getting the disk version AND not have to wait the three weeks it'll take to download?
