Dead cheap. £16 for adults, £5 for U16 and free for U13.

999 tickets allocated so far. It would be rude not to go.

It says uncovered standing, guess its the stand on the left / bottom that runs along the side?

Definitely want to go to this. My parents live just down the road too.

Likely to reach general sale or not? In fairness almost a thousand was more than I thought we would get!

I'll be getting mine on Monday, one of the closest games for me. 2 per season ticket holder, can't we go back to the Wembley 6?

Not looking forward to the Vegan burgers, they can stick that up their arse!!
It's the vegan burgers that make me really want to go to an away match for once.

Actually had a vegan burger the other day and it was really nice. Just thought I would try one to see what it tasted like and it was surprisingly good.

If I can sneak a barbecue in can you fit a cool box under your jumper?

The food is actually excellent and really good value. people bleat on about not trying Vegan. Fecking chips are vegan, they sell chips and curry sauce FFS id rather that and a can of coke for under a fiver than a bleak Ricoh pie for £4 anyday

Don't actually mind Vegan stuff anyway, but wouldn't drink a can of coke!

Oh and the ground is apparently at the top of a massive hill

Yep parking is a nightmare. they do sometimes run a shuttle bus from a factory down on the road in from Stroud. Id definitely recommend using that if they are putting it on

re FGR

I went last year with a mate who's an FGR fan (bless him)

Company called Renshaw run a park and ride services from their premises for about £5. Google for the address if you're driving. Takes about twenty mins to walk back to after game as roads will be jammed so no use getting the bus back.

And the stand we will be located is not covered one bit, so layer up and hope there's no rain. The ground is also at the top of a huge hill so will be cold and windy anyway even with no rain.

As it's the only one without cover, I think you might be right Inspector Clouseau!

Away end used to be the smaller covered end behind the goal but they now put the away lot in the uncovered area.

Being a Stroud local i'd happily accept Cov going green if we had an owner with a bit of vision. im not veggie but the food up there has improved massively quality wise. they now sell really good local ales too.

I went up for some play off games last year and was interviewed on German TV, the reporter had a proper agenda trying to find someone fucked off that they didnt sell animal products but pretty much everyone just agreed that it didnt matter as its now cheaper, better quality and they now sell chips which is a rarity at the footy

Ever tried veggie food? A lot of it tastes the same as meat.

I have to disagree. My wife is a veggie...we'll pescatarian anyway. Since we've been together I've eaten a lot more fish. But to your point, the Quorn mince is ok...I'd happily have the in a Bolognese or lasagne as there's not much difference in that.

The 'chicken' and 'steaks' though....just like cardboard. For me any way.

I'm convinced that by the time we go to our graves, I'll tempt her with a proper bacon sandwich but she's having none if it!

If vegans don't like meat why do they make their food look and taste like meat????

surely it's going to be a burger van type thing anyway rather than something gourmet? Just get something before instead!
Several pubs and cafes in Nailsworth village but FGR ground is about 3/4 mile walk up a steep hill from the village centre. Really rural location to .
