Didn't Ranson or Coleman come out earlier in the season and say that no more fee's for Ward had to payed to West Ham. Im sure they were asked a question along the lines of are you not playing Ward due to if he makes one more apperance for the city you will have to pay a further 300,000.

And whoever they intervied Ranson or Coleman (I can't remember wich) said that it had nothing to do with potential fees to West Ham as they have all been payed for, i'm sorry i cant find the article atm but if anyone can find it that would be a great help.

I think that Ward is a good centre back but he is prone to making mistakes and trying to show off (penalty against southampton). I would prefer to have wood and mcpake as our two centre backs but wouldn't mind ward as a back up. Good luck to him in the future :wave:

I am pretty sure West Ham can't do anything about it but why would Ranson lie? He stopped playing him for a while and then drafted him in against Derby I think and then froze him out again so I don't think that is right to be honest.

Great pity we're not getting a transfer fee for him. Should have sold him sooner. Not the world's worst centre back. Seemed to lose his way.
