Robins doesn’t ever go for it at 0-0, will he ever change? He rarely goes for it at 1-0 down

43 minutes. That's by a mile the longest we've gone into a game before calling for subs

Depends if we want to settle for a point and hope Akinwenwa doesnt win a header that sets up a tap in for somebody or win :)*

*Id love us to win without Reid also but we have nothing going forward, same old story.

JCH to Haynes, to Doyle, to McDonald, to Hyam, to McDonald back to haynes who gives their keeper an easy catch.

Now that pissed me off. Throw in in a decent position and we instantly look backwards and the ball ends up on the edge of our own box under no pressure.

Half time, same story as the last god knows how many games. Nothing going forward at all, aimlessly hoofing it to nobody. Strikers getting nothing.

McNulty anonymous, JCH did that good turn and run but they have had nothing else all game.

It’s bloody freezing so I can’t blame the players for not being outstanding :)

Wycombe not offering much and neither are we

Almost a case of hit and hope for us while they seem familiar with the long ball up top tactic, not that it’s paying off

Haynes has done nothing but flap his arms around at every opportunity trying to win a free kick for a foul or off side

Slow getting the iFollow started tonight, reckon the cameraman doesn't want to get his hands cold. It's -12 here, get on with it!

That's grim.

Was in Munich at the weekend and it was -10. I went to find my friends (who might or might not have been in a gentlemans club) and was happy to have a drunken late night stroll. In the end I was hailing down a cab within about 10 minutes!

Does anybody go to the football to watch the game anymore or just fart about on their phones? Reminds me of all the dicks you see at a gig.

Really about Haynes? He’s got into good positions, strange to point him out over anyone else

Are you sure you're on the right thread?

If we do our usual kick it up a notch for 2nd half can we win this?

It depends what we do to change it. If we get it to the strikers feet and create chances we might.

Robins needs to remember their knack for late winners too, if it's like at the Ricoh they will put Akinfenwa on the penalty spot and about 7 players battling for the 2nd ball.

When Haynes is yet again out of position all he does is stand there claiming offside even when it so blatingly not offside. It's so bloody frustrating when he stands there claiming offside when he's about 100 yards up the pitch out of position
Why is he in the side when he can't defend for his life , non league level is his rightful place
He's inept and out of his depth.

Wycombe playing long ball after long ball and then pressing high looking to win second ball. You can see why it is effective at this level, but we've coped well. Game there for the taking and it will stretch second half. No need to panic.

Id take a 0-0 at 90 mins.

Do want to see Reid given a shot, why stick him on the bench and not use him?

Anyone remember Jeff Blockley?

A draw leaves us 5 points behind playoffs with just the 1 game in hand on Swindon, same games as Lincoln and 1 more than Exeter.

I think he’s defended well tonight

I can understand why people get frustrated though, these are 'on a knife edge' tactics. If we go on to win this game 2-0, that will have been a perfectly acceptable first half but if we end up conceding and losing, it will have been an absolute waste of 45 minutes.

Still Biamou’s fault?

You think he’s better than Clarke Harris? In the end a draw away in isolation here is a good result. Also if we create two chances all game there’s a chance with a real forward we’ll convert one. We could create 10 chances for mundane Max and the defenders will still be sitting in deckchairs reading a book and laughing as he gets nowhere near any of them.

Oh yeah, if we pull something out of the bag then defend the win it's great.

I think if we do score it will be a bit of skill from something individual rather than a well worked team goal like we see against us most weeks :(

I dont think hes better, JCH did a great turn and switched on the pace. However he has had no service either all game, hasn't really won a header (most are nowhere near him) and is having to drop deep like Biamou did which leaves him out of position when we do get a cross in so it's an easy header clear for the defender.
