after that comment let's hope you don't regret not logging out of SBT and letting her read your posts!
If you hadn't married your wife you wouldn't have had your daughter so it wasn't too bad a decision.
Yep. Exactly my point in a way.

We do things that we believe are the right things to do at that time and then that path follows.

That's why I think looking back is daft (for me anyway)

One simple change of decision and that can then change everything, not just the one thing you think you could change and only wanted to change.

If you didn't ask that girl out you wanted to and now look back and wished you did, that then would have changed your entire life path.

I just never look back. Nowt I can change about my past. It's in there now etched into history.

I look back more than I look forward because at this point there a lot more in that direction.

Not necessarily, you life could have turned out exactly the same in every way except you would have had a lot more sex, other men would have envied you more, and your kids would be more intelligent and better looking.
Thats's the way I look at it.

Ah, but if you had have gone out with that girl you would have made different friends (her friends), have different in-laws, would have lived in a different house and had different kids.

So much could have changed as a result of one chance meeting and therefore taken you on a completely different path.
