Bale: ""I need to be playing week in, week out and that has not happened this season. I had an injury five, six weeks in but fit ever since. I have to sit down with my agent in the summer and discuss it."

Thought it was a decent game between 2 decent sides (but not outstanding teams).
Liverpool without Salah struggled.
From an England point of view was impressed with TAA. Thought he handled Ronaldo comfortably. And is a good threat going forwards.

Liverpool were the better side until Salah went off. Then a nowhere near match fit Adam Lallana replaced him and Real took control. Liverpool had 56 attacking touches in the final third compared to Madrid’s 21 when Salah was on the pitch..after that one compared to Madrid’s 65!

Their game plan looked to be to go into half time 2 or 3 up like they’ve done many times but Real were prepared and knew if they could go into half time still in the game Liverpool wouldn’t be able to keep that intensity up and had no options off the bench

That stat doesn't seem right. Liverpool did score a goal after that and had a few chances. Should imagine a fair chunk of Madrid's touches etc. came on the counter in last 10-15 minutes when Liverpool were chasing the game.

It’s from the Independent

Before the Salah injury they had 56 touches in the attacking third compared to Madrid’s 21. After it, Madrid had 65 to Liverpool’s one. One. And all because of one moment. It was impossible not to keep bringing it back to that.
