A friend who is a Derby fan reckons Luke Thomas is coming in on loan from them. Apparently he played in the friendly at nuneaton but i cant remember him. Not sure how much truth is in this so dont hold me to it.

Could be true but maybe thats all he knows and he said its cov because he knows me. Dont think we need an attacking midfielder

Derby rarely ever use youth recently so someone with 2 appearances was probably the closest they could find for that award

Yeah but we can just stick him in at centre half so he is still playing but just behind the order of Andreu / Bayliss ;)
Surprised nobody's started the conspiracy that we get him on loan in exchange for giving them Bayliss.

Lolz. I really hope one of these prove me wrong and start scoring for fun but fuck me on paper our striker recruitment has been dire.

Pretty sure a significant portion of our fans spent half a season slating McNulty as not a ‘natural goalscorer’ last season.

Hiwula also appears to have been deployed out wide a lot in his career and despite his slow start, he could be a good signing. McNulty also got off to a slow start. Bakayoko, seems like someone who needs to add to his game to take it to the next level. Interestingly, that number 10 jersey has been left vacant still!

I’m going to sit back and wait it out on this one. I’m a bit underwhelmed, but Robins deserves the fans’ trust.

I think we are still missing a left winger who can hug the touchline and stretch back fours.

Allassani doesn't appear to be ready for first team duties and Hiwulu looks more natural through the middle.

Could this be the guy to match the enterprising JJ on the opposite side.

We need a left winger somebody who is quick and likes to try to beat his man I remember a bloke a couple of years ago who would fit the bill he played for Bradford I think his name was Reid where is he now?

Did Reid have a bad injury before he joined us because he always seemed to tear us apart but was rubbish for us in our relegation year, didn't shine at Colchester and then was only an average bit part player for us in league 2.

This is why I’ll never make it as a scout - but I reckon Reid is ok. He’s direct and when motivated is useful to wip a cross in.

Over the years we see to have had lots of players who only play well against us, you would have the striker who hasn’t scored for months and then bang.

He was 28 when he joined us, should have been at his peak.

Was he at his peak though because is performances suggested otherwise? Also, don't forget he was on the wrong side of 28 when he joined us. Like with many wingers of his ilk once his pace started to deteriorate he was caught out as all he was left with was his atrocious end product. Hence why he now finds himself without a club. Not necessarily saying he was burnt out when he joined, but he certainly was on his way as his pace was nowhere near the mark in comparison to previous seasons.

We must be getting him on loan as a sweetener for the Bayliss sale....

Just for you, NW!

This David Deakin seems to be saying we are in talks to bring this guy in. Not sure how credible he is based on his scaremongering about Bayliss being sold.
