A lot of people are angry after the boat had no free booze and food after paying £30 to do so.

James Raffell is getting some vile abuse on Facebook, which is taking it too far, but he has to do something after people were ripped off.

It was still a great trip. The majority enjoyed it.

Not really his fault though to abuse him personally. I don't know him but he's always seemed a decent lad, least give him chance to sort something.

What happened with the beer? Just turned up and they denied it?

I enjoyed it but it wasn't how it looked in the brochure!
I'd have needed to make some serious dollar to have put up with the hassle he did today.
With hindsight 30 quid with a free bar seemed a bit too good to be true but I'd been on it for the best part of 24 hours when I booked it so wasn't thinking too clearly!

That exactly. Huge queues of people at the bar and the staff didnt have a clue why people were asking for free drinks.

I'm shocked it didn't kick off and that people were in good spirits after.

A bit weird, he will have it in writing about the free drinks though to go to their boss and sort something?

Not his personal fault, always seems miles away from the type to mislead or rip off

Had a great time. Some of the drinks we got were free, bought a few more, no big deal. So 44 quid for transport there and back, a 3 hour boat trip on the Thames and 3 free beers ain't bad value. Don't go on the FB page very often and reading some of the abuse being dished out I realise why.

That’s a poor show though. I’m sure they could have raise it with the boat/company for misleading people?

He's said that they didn't know it was a football trip. Therefore, without putting all the blame on him, James is in the wrong there. Not telling them it's a football trip is a complete schoolboy error.

Oh so they were just expecting a work trip or something rather then people properly on it?

That's what James has said.

I can't imagine him running anymore coaches after this. A shame really as on the whole he's provided a cheap service for fans.

Was it the amount they would be drunk they was the issue rather than football fans?

Met James briefly at L&W supporters club recently. Seemed a really decent bloke. I don't think anyone should have a pop at him unless they know the facts.

He didn’t know and hasn’t deliberately conned anyone, they should let it go, they had travel, a beer but an away win which has to be worth every penny

Has previous for fraud, yet runs a cash in hand business?! This isn't the first time things have gone pear either. Remember Wimbledon a few weeks back, apparently he knew beforehand and hid it until the day. The club should run affordable travel, end of.

That's quite an accusation.

You know of proof I take it?

It's his own admission
Really?

If he's admitted it himself, what on earth is he doing handling cash in hand? Wouldn't he want to steer well clear of that sort of thing?

What sort of fraud was it? You know?

Don't ask me why people give him money. They should have smelled a rat after his first fuck up. Yes, he has admitted to being convicted of fraud, but has said everyone makes mistakes and should be given a second chance, his words.

What happened at Wimbledon? I am not aware of that incident.

And he's right of course about a second chance, but you would think he would steer clear of such a business as this because it's cash in hand and the temptation is always going to be there where there is paper trail that can be easily manipulated.

I was one of the people that paid £30 and didn’t get a free drink. Can’t say I care too much, was a class day and what a feeling ok the way home!

Wimbledon rumours are denied, but here he admits to being done for fraud. Huge red flag for me
