The club was allowed to spend more this year because more money was brought in to be available to spend.

Again, going back to the start. SISU didn't put money in to be spent. Therefore they didn't invest this year on the players. Which was my point.

Because you want mega rich owners, that spunk money. I'm quite happy with how we're performing at the moment, we also seem to have a good business model (buying young players with potential) Get the ground situation sorted and i think we're in for a bright future. I don't find the need to think of or bring up Sisu.

No, it looks as if it is just me correcting him saying look at the money SISU have invested this season. I did quote his post.

1. It isn't me bringing SISU up (as I am replying to a post about them)
2. Where am I demanding loads of money to be thrown in? If anything, I have always been against loads of money being thrown in that the club can't afford.

SISU could have taken money out of the club to pay back debts/loans but they don't seem to have, so in a way they are leaving money in the club they could have taken. No they have not directly invested this season but they have allowed invetment by not taking funds away. In a way your both right, SISU have not invested this season directly, but allowing the club to use the funds it has generated and taking none for repayments is a sort of investment. For me the bigger worry (ground apart) is where does this seasons sell come from to generate money. Bayless don't seem the same player YET, JJ still to prove he can come back to what he was or better. So stop arguing about extra funds this season, where does next seasons extra funds come from?

Both right, both wrong . SISU aquired the football club. They invested money to do so. Whether via several layers of companies or not they ultimately are the benefactors {or losers} Now their investment is paying off as the football club is generating income. Allowing that income to be reinvested instead of taking a dividend is investment. It's not actual hard cash investment from SISU or it's shareholders or it's clients monies but could be interprited as investment as no monies have been extracted from the football club, the club originally bought by SISU as an investment. Their original investment can go up or down and has done so. Fresh investment would be hard cash put in by SISU which they have not done. But allowing the club to reinvest it's income is a form of investment from SISU it could be argued.
It's all symantics.
As the Wycombe manager said " they are a big club and we are envious of the money they are able to invest in players this season, 300k for Bakayako sitting on their bench, something we can't do" {he actualy forgot about Chaplin's 500k!} So let's give SISU some credit in allowing the club to reinvest it's income....it might just get us promoted a second time. SISU know they have to make the club viable and sustainable and get to the championship at least so they can sell their interest.

That still isn't sisu investing this season.
 
The way I see it is, SISU haven’t put any further further funds.

If SISU didn’t exist this expenditure still would have been made. This further proves that NOPM is pretty much a failed initiative. The more money available = the more we can spend

The definition of invest is:

It's not 'Joy' that owns the club though, is it? It's the Arvo Master Fund ultimately SISU.

But I think we're all arguing over the same thing. Technically they are investing by purchasing players using income from the previous year. But I consider investment to be something in excess of standard income. I certainly wouldn't say SISU have invested in CCFC in recent years.
