Things never seem to get any better over there. Are they just badly run or is there an underlying issue?
Still if they go bust and Wasps kick us out ...

As long as they aren't in Cov that's enough for me.Or alternatively, Wasps move there.
Think we may have to move them back to London in stages.
Who?It’s very sad and has been coming for some time. One of my old clubs. One or two individuals have a lot to answer for. The club was thriving but too many shit decisions by people that knew best has led to this.
An obvious question is where has this season sponsorship and season ticket money gone along with the money from selling the ground?
That's what I'm getting at. Did he pocket the money for himself and then walk away?I assumed the previous owner (might still own the club) sold the ground separately?
I don't even know if the fans own the club and control it now. I did notice their official Twitter was rting stuff from fans that they probably wouldn't about themselves if it was them. That's what I'm getting at. Did he pocket the money for himself and then walk away?
Whats this Port Vale chap like, reasonable? Do the fans just need to keep the day to day going to at least buy them time or will he be demanding silly money for rent?
He split Port Vale's ground from club. Some of their fans are no fans. I make no judgement myself.Whats this Port Vale chap like, reasonable?
They only signed Baker a few weeks ago. Don't imagine he's a low earner at that level and they must have been well in the shit by then.Madness. How does a club at that level get to be spending £17-£19k a month on wages they physically can't pay?

Looks like they average 3 home games a month with crowds around 500. If they were all full price non-season ticket holders that would only be around £18K. Well short of the wage bill before you even consider running costs. Can't imagine sponsorship brings in a huge amount at that level.
Wonder if all clubs are spending that much.
Him buying it seems a bit random.Probably talking bollox here but city fan buys boro ground and we could be in deep shit next May........Surely not a plan between sisu and him ?? If so they can fuck right off.
Hope you're right Nick !!Him buying it seems a bit random.
I can't see it being worth much for housing. Especially not with the beef with the rugby club.
It seems odd that someone like that has bought it. But is there even the slightest chance it would be viable.
Realistically you'd need 15K, trying to think back to our games there in the past. Would there even be enough room to bring it up to the required standard.
That's before you even consider planning and who would pay for it.
Christ, didn't realise it was that restricted.
What would need to be done to make it to football league standard?
Dont think you would fit a stadium on there when you take into consideration the parking it would need.I mean how much would the land of the rugby club and the borough cost? Seems quite a fair bit of land to build a stadium and the training facility

With river and stream it looks that the land is awkward to build much of a stadium there....certainly not one with a capacity of 15k+.
